SUPPER CLUB - Friday, March 29
Good morning,
I THINK today is Friday, isn't it? The days seem to roll by so quickly I can't keep track anymore.
I got my Alaska Portraits top together yesterday. I still need to stitch down 3 fused fish and 5 trees, then add narrow inner border and wider outer border. And then go shopping for backing. YAY!! After today I can come out of my sewing hole and rejoin humanity! Bill and I made a chore list to get done before we leave on April 7 for our 10-day trip. I will start working that list - maybe this afternoon!
BECCA - I watched your video! What a great tribute! But there was no picture of YOU!!! The star of the show! I will say, though, from the littlest great up to your hubby, you have a very good-looking group! Were they really calling you Old Gramma? Cute!! I know someone who's grands call her Big Mama. lol! My kids called my MIL "Bummer". Bill & I are Nonnie and Pop. Oh, as for a vegetarian menu, Beans are OK.
VELDA - do other people camp in your site in Shelbyville while you are gone? Hope dancing was fun last night! Well, of course it was!
CHICKIE - I heard a few others on the forum have been having computer troubles, too. I haven't but then, with my nose in my sewing room this past week, I haven't been trying much. So were you able to get your sewing closet squared away yesterday? You have so much going on in your life it's a wonder you get in there at all!
JANA - well? Did your Giants win? I don't know how the Mariners did. I want them to go well, but Bill doesn't care for baseball, which means we don't watch it. Today is Bridezilla's wedding day, right? Wonder who is going to catch all her attitude when the only one around is her new husband . . . Sarah is really talented! How many instruments does she play? I've seen those surprise inside cakes made on Holiday Baking Show. Amazing!
LORI - Sudafed will do it! So will dehydration, too much wine, and a busy mind! I slept well last night thanks to IBU-PM!
TINA - tacos are always a hit here. My easy go-to's are homemade pizza or pasta in pesto sauce. Only my pesto is just to add olive oil, basil, garlic, parmesan, and walnuts to the pasta. Then if I wish I add options like sliced olives, artichokes, sliced pizza pepperoni, black beans, sliced asparagus, or whatever else I can think of.
Tonite, though, will be leftover pork chops and scalloped potatoes. Bill usually puts the leftovers away so I never know just what I have. If potatoes are gone, it will be diced up chops in the left over gravy over rice.
got any good ideas yet for YOUR supper?

Good morning.
Becca, I have company coming on Monday, so I'll be cleaning this weekend. Not much really. Just a few extras.
Maryz, I slept good last night. I was tired. I can't take sleeping aids. They keep me awake. I don't know why.
Well last night we had leftovers instead of chili, so tonight will be chili. Maybe.
Have a lovely day. Lori

Good very late morning!
It is snowing again. Been cold, foggy and snowy all morning long. Just right for outdoor wedding pictures - at least bridezilla's colors for the wedding are blue, burgandy and blush rose - the blue skinned people in the pictures will match! I know, me needs to behave, but it is so much fun not too! ROFLOL! The ceremony was earlier this morning, then the luncheon and the reception is tonight. Aaron's opinion, hey, free food, twice today!
Ethan and I will be on our own tonight for dinner, so the pizza that was supposed to happen last night will tonight. Michael and Matt are going uptown to the symphony. Matt had two tickets, so he is taking his dad. The symphony is playing some of their favorite pieces tonight. I cooked a corned beef last, expecting that it would be just the three of us. Silly me, just as I was putting dinner on the table, Aaron, Kate and the girls showed up to borrow the car for use today. Of course there was enough, but alas no leftovers. Will try again for leftovers, I need a corned beef sandwich!
The kids are using our extra car, so that when the girls get tired and need their beds, Aaron can come home early. Kate has to stay, to bring home the gifts. I offered the truck, to make sure everything would fit, but bridezilla went through the roof, that the gifts had to be inside and covered - isn't that what tarps are for? OK, I try to behave....Not!
Michael is driving Sarah down to the concert venue, so there won't be two cars from here house. Her DH sings in the choir, so she has a ride home. I am here, to be sure someone is home for Ethan as he gets home from school.
Mary - no, they lost, but there is always today!
Becca - I too was watching the video to see you.
Well, time to get going,
I think I am busy,
Enjoy,
Jana
