Supper Club -Tuesday, Jan 15

Good morning!
We had a stellar traveling day yesterday and made it halfway to Deming. We stayed in our usual RV park when making this trip - it has a great fenced dog area, lots of friendly resident cats, and a tiny family-run cafe. So we ate “out” and a sweet orange cat escorted us back to our trailer after supper and all it cost us was a bite of leftover chicken.
Funny thing happened on the road: a couple that we know and who are headed to Quartzsite, AZ from NC to meet up with our good friends who were parked next to us for 2 months in Georgetown are headed for the same big RV Rally was delayed in NC. We’ve camped with alll of them a few times over the years. As we were driving west on I-10 they were suddenly merging onto the highway next to us!! Bill recognised them. We slowed to allow them in, we were that close! What are the odds of that happening? We couldnt have planned a meeting as close as that! We drove together next 100 miles until we needed to stop for fuel. They drove on another 80 miles past our stop, trying to make better time.
Tina, i will be texting you later today. We should arrive at Dream Catcher about 2pm. My sis should arrive at almost same time coming from the north. We’ve got to coordinate with them. The friend we met on the road yesterday suggested Adobe Deli. Have you eaten there?
Irish, if Nick joined Airforce would he do it now or after college? There is that GI bill....
Chickie - you know spring flowers arent many weeks away....
Becca - thx for checking in. Glad your DGS is close by. Do you have any help otherwise? Your kids must worry about you when they are so far away. Do get better soon!
Jana - there are a few young rowdies in our family too. And the parents think they are cute and funny! I cant say here what I think!
I’ve lost control of suppers here. Every time I plan something it gets changed. So -today could be that scramble i talked about a few days ago, dinner out w/sister, or a completely new plan. That’s alright. I like surprises.
