SUPPER CLUB - Friday, Jan 11

Good morning!
Lunch with Autumn & Aaron yesterday was nice. Bittersweet. She and I are both sick with allergies (and neither of us have allergies when in WA) and the restaurant patio, where we were seated, was many decibles beyond LOUD with crowds, metal chairs scraping on cement and a construction crew running heavy equipment right outside our clear plastic tarped wall. But I still treasured every moment. But goodbyes were said and now we're looking forward to Cindy and Don joining us this evening. But she said she is bringing SHRIMP! To camp with me!! Imagine!! CATFOOD!! No wonder I woke up this morning sicker than ever!! Foxy, however, isn't so discerning and he's hoping there will be leftovers!
BECCA - oh no! You Can't be down and out, too!! Your household is now 0 for 2! I hope you're feeling better today. Thanks for checking in.
JANA - I love springy sewing after the holidays are all through. Your tote sounds nice. Chriss is hosting a swap right now, but when it's over, I'm thinking of hosting a floral one because I'm in the mood for flowers!!
IRISH - I'm laughing at the visual you painted of Jake hiding out in his cathouse from the birds! lol! How long will you be in FL this trip? And how is Gin doing? And what a happy surprise to find those quilts your grandfather made! Make sure everyone knows their history - maybe you could make labels for them! What a treasure!
CHICKIE - I'm laughing at your visual, too, of dog yoga! lol! I wonder if Izzy does goat yoga . . . I've never had hot chile rellenos. I'm not sure what kind of chilies restaurants use, but isn't it just the seeds that are hot? I have Hatch chilies in my freezer.
TINA - you've fallen off the computer again!! I guess I'm going to have to come and fetch you! Not an idle threat, girl!
Cindy and Don will be here for 3 nights. At least I believe they are staying 3 nights. Then we'll all leave Monday morning - they going back to Houston and we heading west. As for supper, we've never had the chili rellenos I had planned some days ago so I think that's what I'm going to do for tonite with green salad on the side.
