SUPPER CLUB - Sat, Nov 24th
Posted: Sat Nov 24, 2018 2:15 am
Good morning,
Today is my sister's birthday. We already celebrated when we were with her a few weeks ago, but I'll call her later today. Again. Just talked to her yesterday.
I cleaned the whole trailer yesterday and reorganized the under-bed storage. Mopped, vac's, dusted, and packed all my sewing away. We are hitting the road again today, taking a short 'vacation' south to Mission, TX just because we've never been there before. and because our friends invited us to go with them. We'll be back here in this spot, same site, Dec 5th. Foxy will like 'vacation' - there is a bird sanctuary there. Foxy is a bird fan.
speaking of Foxy, I found him yesterday playing with a 3" tarantula right outside the trailer! Our first big spider! Yikes! Bill carefully relocated him out in the woods with the aid of a dustpan and whisk broom.
IRISH - I'm fully in favor of doing whatever you feel you need/want to do for all these 'firsts'. And I'm sure Jim was listening to your every word. He was probably thinking, "Gosh, she's STILL talking!" lol! just teasing. I hope I made you laugh!
CHICKIE - ten sounds like quite a large group to me! But nice to not have twenty! glad you had a nice time. I saw the Nutcracker when Autumn was in 2nd grade - 1984. And when I was in grade school, I danced in it - I was one of the Arabian dancers. Guess that was a bit prophetic, huh. .
VELDA - did you go to your exercise class and work off all that dinner? I thought I'd never be hungry again but turns out I was wrong. Still eating here.
JANA - you did it! You got it cut! Your hair grows fast. Seems you just had a haircut. Is it snowing yet?
Tonite is an unknown as we'll be traveling today. But supper will be more turkey in some form. maybe enchiladas? tacos? soup? casserole? Autumn bagged up leftovers and I think she gave us all the turkey. We'll be eating it for a while. I think I'll end up freezing some of it.
What's your plan?
