Good morning!
today my oldeer grandson, Drew, turns a quarter century old!! Can't believe it! I still remember when I hit that milestone. I thought I was so mature - finally! lol!!
Yesterday was chiropractor, then Costco. By the time we were home, everything put away, and lunch eaten, it was 1:30. I finished quilting my tablerunner and day was done! Today I will finish the binding on that project and then start cleaning the garage messes. If there's more time, I'll clean out another flowerbed. The yard needs one more mowing before we go south. I don't care what Bill says! But I told him he should do it when Vicki is gone tomorrow with the kids. She has been very quiet since the sheriff/ambulance episode and we don't want to rile her. and mowing riles her a LOT! Though the Seahawk game is on at 10am and the kids like to watch the games, too. and they are playing the Raiders in London this week. so kids may skip vicki. We never know, but watch for their cars.
TINA - glad you got your trailer back home again. And that you didn't wash away. Congratulations on your weight loss! That's very nearly a pound a week, which is what the medicos recommend for weight loss that is healthy and that stays off! You're doing excellent!!! and you're doing it the right way.
CHICKIE - surprises are always fun! Bet Natasha loved her pillow. Glad you didn't get washed away either! Here, I guess my yard is full of "slug plants"! ugh!! They eat everything, too!
BECCA - sounds like you love cooking and you love family! You can always freeze most things for those days down the road when cooking seems like too much work!
JANA - happy birthday to your Matt! Of course, you aren't that old! My mom always said her kids' ages were their business and her age was her business. lol! My girls are soon to turn 42 and 47. My son is 43. Even my grands are 21 and 25 (today!). If it's any comfort, I'm older than you! How did the training drill go yesterday? and yes, there are so many national parks and close to you, too! We love Bryce - even more than Grand Canyon. and Yellowstone is my favorite place on earth! then Alaska, then Bryce, then home. In that order.
bill just reminded me that we are meeting his sister and DBIL for breakfast in Tacoma and then going to the RV show with them. We are helping them shop. always fun to look and even more fun to come away, all your dollars intact, and knowing that you are more than satisfied with what you have.
Supper last night will be the pizza we never got to yesterday. We ended up with just tomato basil soup, chips, and hummus. At least that's the plan. As always, subject to change.
