Good morning from home!

We got home about 230 yesterday. By the time we got buggie unloaded, Tote unhitched, both parked in shop, which involved and in-parking and re-parking tractor, then fifth wheel Parked, truck unhitched and also parked in shop, two hours had passed. We have most everything unloaded from fifth wheel in laundry will get underway soon. It will probably be a two day thing. I don’t just have a mountain of it, I have an entire mountain range!

We found very little Amiss When we arrived. Just a few pieces of junk tossed in our yard which I picked up threw away. Our big rolling shop door it’s all marked up from where vicki beat it with a bowl. We saw that before our system went down We haven’t seen anything of Vicki since we got home. Her house is closed up tight. She could be sick, napping, or working jigsaw puzzles in her living room. She can’t see us from her living room Or, she said hopefully, Vicky could have been taken away ....

We have no Internet, no TV, no house phones, and no security system. Everything has been down for eight days which explains why we were never able to get video of Vicky passed last Monday. Bill has a guy coming today so I am still dictating on my cell phone which has only 10% power left so they have to make this fast.

Becca, My brother Jim hated vegetables and simply refused to eat them. Terry sneaked them into things like meatloaf.

Irish, small mobile on your sisters farm sounds like not such a bad idea!

Chickie, happy anniversary yesterday! Lucky 13! Here’s the thing about the Polaris-if you buy it and we deliver it you have to also buy the tote trailer. Because we are not hauling that back!

Jana, all that clean stuff must look unnatural! When I get things cleaned up, I always feel the urge to mess it up again. Hope Ethan is better soon !

Tina, congratulations on your weight-loss! you go, girl!

Our friends who were coming home from Las Vegas yesterday stopped and picked up KFC and stopped by here. We opened the “good“ wine and had a feast and caught up with each other. We will be camping together next week at the ocean. So no cooking last night. So tonight will be chicken soup or spaghetti, both leftovers.

Good morning!

Mary - I posed the question of why all the failures at once, is everything provided by one company? Michael suggested that it could be a failure or that someone yanked the main cord to the house or pinned it. Meaning they shoved a metal pin through the cable, shorting out everything. Hope they solve the problem.

Got three wallhangings almost done and ready for their display here in the house. Getting the small projects done. While I was cleaning up the sewing area, Michael cleaned up the storage area and rearranged some of my pantry storage shelves. He didn't like that I have some stuff sitting under the shelves in a tote. So he fixed that, giving me more room. Even swept up the dust and mess left by my construction team, Daniel and Aaron in the bathroom. The cold storage room, the bathroom and the storage room are all in the same area.

Dinner - I think meatloaf sounds yummy.

Enjoy,
Jana

Good morning from a semi dreary, semi rainy, not exactly sure what's happening, SW. Pa....One window I look out, it's raining, another it looks like the sun is coming out, weird!

Mary, good to have you home, even if it's just for a little while...(But, long enough for me to get my traveling duds washed and ready to go, I wish)....I had mentioned a small mobile on the farm and last night, I came across the Granny Pods, which I sent to all the kids....Funny, I haven't heard back from any of them, except Kathy... lol....And she did say, Tim is still searching for a small house for me, what a guy......

Jana, sure hope Ethan is feeling better today....You're getting to be like Mary, whipping through those projects....Here, I just think about it, lol....Need to find my mojo! Meatloaf is always good!

As always, not much happening in this household....Baby Girl wouldn't let me get up this morning so for sure not much happening...But, I am meeting the girls for lunch...Today is one of their birthdays and of course we have to celebrate...But, if not a birthday, we'd find an excuse.....Also hoping to get to the furniture store and do some ordering and who knows what else while I'm out.....

As for dinner, that will probably be whatever I have for lunch.....For breakfast, I had the last piece of shoofly cake so I need to bake something, maybe banana nut bread....Can't say, my diet is the best but as long as the tummy doesn't hurt, I'll stick with it.....

You all have a great day.....

Happy eating................
