Good morning
I've done my walk, watered everything out back and have the brisket in the smoker....we didn't get to cook it yesterday because we didn't get home till almost 5, so I had crackers and cheese and Frankie had salad and ham.

Good morning!

Tina - yes it was! Here in Utah you can shoot off fireworks 2 days before the holiday, the holiday and one day after. Most are done on the holiday, but many neighbors stretch them out for each night. So we still have tonight! We do it again for Pioneer Day celebrations on the 24th of July.

Dinner tonight will probably be out. We will be gone around dinnertime.

Well better scoot, I have a pair of pants to hem for Michael. He needs them yonight. Nothing like the last minute! LOL!

Hello everyone.hot here today after a shower last nite.But it was after fireworks time.Our neighbors here in valley below us did some.I never cared for them bec of the noise.I prefer the ones on tv without noise.I always watch capital 4th & Macys had a good fireworks too.

Jana Sure yours is a real treat with your setup.Sounds wonderful.Thats a special gift for you to make the onsies.And Ethans shirts are special for him too.

We had DHs dental appt for cleaning.And its hisBirthday ,hes getting lots of phone calls & facetimes.I will make him a chocolate cake his fav.We have corn on cob.cole slaw & burgers.

Supper is up in the air. It's too hot to eat. Dan is working a double, again, the crazy man. He got a $1300 bill from the urologist (after insurance) that he wants to get settled.

I am going to sit beside the fan and try some delectable mountain blocks for block lotto. I did up 7 strip blocks. Have enough strips cut to do a few more, but I don't know. We will see. I have to run to somewhere to pick up mailers. I wonder where the Lularoe girls get theirs. Plastic mailers would work for block lotto and the fabric swaps I signed up for.

Becca, I went to bed instead of going to fireworks, last night. Guess I am getting old!! I will be the ripe old age of 50, here in a week or two. We didn't have any in the neighborhood, either. At least none that I heard.

Jana, I don't hem. Whenever Dan wants pants hemmed, he takes them to Mom. I refuse to get in his psycho hemming pattern. He thinks 30's are too short for him. So, he buys 32's and has Mom hem 2" up.

My puppydogs sat on me and told me that they miss me. My Christmas stuff is over at Mom's, so those delectable mountains will wait for another day. Besides, my house is cooler. The dogs are playing and happy I am home. They are only around so long. Got to make sure part of every day is founded on companionship.
