SUPPER CLUB - Wed, April 11

Good morning!
The birds are singing this morning! Going to be a good day! and I have no appointments, commitments, or errands to run. Just my morning walk. I have a few uglies I might do - or I might not. and some quality time in my sewing room. I made a few changes in the sewing room, swapped my cutting table and my work table around, and Everything seems to be flowing better. Love being in there! I also need to plan what project I want to take with me in the trailer next week.
CHICKIE - I'm glad your DD's tests were 'normal' but bummed because that begs the question, "What's next?" I know how concerned you are so I am, too. Thoughts going with your whole family this week! So, the SIL is coming to your house for several days while you are trying to care for a fresh post-op patient?? Who's idea was this? Not yours, I know!!
BECCA - nice to have that gravel taken care of!
BECKY - so how did dinner at the in-laws go last night?
JANA - I've seen that pretty fabric line. What is the F&P pattern called that you are doing? I'm asking because I have no patterns of my own. ROFLOL!!! Even I couldn't keep a straight face when I said that! But really, what is it called. Ya never know, I might love it more than the 1,372 patterns of my own I have waiting for me. BTW, we've done the Feather River, route. Beautiful!!!
IRISH - Those are tough jobs you are tackling at your house. Would it be helpful if family were there when you do it? Or is it better to work through it on your own. Sad as it is, there is some catharsis there. (((hug))). I've got your dates written on my calendar. I'm not sure why, because I won't be here to look at my calendar! lol! We'll be gone the 15th-20th. We'll be on a beach, but probably not in shorts and tanks!! When Nick comes home will he stay with his dad or maybe with you?
PAM - thanks! I'd forgotten about my cast iron. It got shoved way to the back of the cupboard when I bought my glass-top stove 10 years ago. They said don't use cast iron on it. Scratches easily, I suppose was their reasoning. But I'll dig it out. Do love cast iron cooking! And for that helpful hint, you're getting a pass for mentioning the F-word in Supper Club. Here, we refer to, shudder, Fish as "mac and cheese". I can't abide anything from the water. Nothing. Nada. Zippo. And since I've elected myself queen, I get to make the decree that we all eat "Macaroni & Cheese". Sometimes we even eat real mac & cheese! Becca really squeeked by with her s----n cakes. And, BECCA, don't think I didn't notice that!! So, them's the rules. And don't be talking up liver either. That's even worse! ;o)
So, now, on to what's for OUR supper! I have some cooked chicken breast so I think I'm going to make a chicken salad and serve it over fresh baby spinach.
What's the supper story at your house?
