SUPPER CLUB - Saturday, March 24th

Good morning!
DD (Dear Dog) got us up at 4:22 this morning. And if Scott is ready to be up, there's no fighting it. So we're getting a nice early start to the morning. Albert went home from the hospital yesterday! Whoo Hoo! He didn't get home until after 7pm though. A 2-1/2 hour car trip that probably hurt with every bump. He was worn out. Al & June are leaving today and will stop to see him as they leave the state and report back to me how they think he's doing. Albert's kids all told us that they will be there for their dad and we are to go camping as planned. So we're going (unless things change drastically), but I'm packing a bit of guilt to take along.
thank you all for the birthday wishes! It was a really nice, low-key day. Purrfect! I did a little of everything I love to do. Except laundry. I don't love that!
BECCA - you always say the nicest things to me! Thank you! I'm so sorry to hear that Denise is sick. Didn't she get sick the last time she was planning to visit you? I hope it all works out for you and she's feeling better today.
CHICKIE - congrats on the newest baby! We'll probably be saying that many more times through the 'season'! The mac & cheese was awesome! There's enough left for one more helping. Hmmm.... Wonder who gets that . . . glad you are warming up! Did you see - I'm going to start in making a second FGV. Such a good travel/camping project.
IRISH - I never thought of donating old quilting mags to the library. Ours probably wouldn't want them. When I purge, I tear out patterns I think I might possibly want in future and donate the rest to the thrift shops. I do see packs of old quilt mags for sale there. Sad news about the eagle nest. Makes me cry. Darn raccoons!!
LINDA - sorry the rain is keeping you home, but sounds like you are making the most of your time. your yard sounds so pretty! I'm terrible with roses. I have 4 bushes that keep hanging on despite my lack of care.
JANA - loved the Ethan, cat, mouse story! The poor mouse must have been pretty confused!
VELDA - you sound ready to roll almost! Is your truck ready, too? It will be good to be back in IL. Your move is sort of my harbinger of summer days!
BECKY - I sure hope they figure out what is going on with your DGD. No fun being in the hospital, especially when you're a little kid.
TINA - you do sound busy! I've been wondering if all was OK with you. How is your dad feeling these days?
Well, I need to hang up and talk to my DBIL, who sits next to me every morning while I do my 'computing'. Since it's their last morning.
Supper is going to be leftover chicken enchilada casserole. and salad. No muss, no fuss.
And your supper is going to be???
