SUPPER CLUB - Sun, Feb 18th

Good morning!
We survived our windstorm yesterday though I expect when it gets light we will see several limbs laying on the ground that did not. I'll let Tractor-boy go out and pick them up - and blow off the cement parking pads. My sis should arrive tomorrow afternoon so there will be a few indoor uglies to do today, too, but not much. Laundry, vacuum, bathroom, and Mr. Dog needs a bath. That's about it.
Yesterday I finished my wall-hanging. And now it's hanging on my wall! I posted a photo if you wan to see. And last night I finished my big counted cross-stitch, too, and started sewing on about 200 tiny beads for 'snow'. I might get them done today. and then it will be ready for framing! But here's the thing - it's a Santa and reindeer. When it takes me 18-36 months to finish a project, I'm not going to display it just 4 weeks a year. By golly, it's gonna be up a while!! If I live long enough, my house will be decorated for Christmas year round! I already have three others up on the walls! lol!
JANA - So happy you found some wallpaper for the bathroom! It's going to look great! How was the big birthday party? Did you get some cake? Please let it be white. I love white cake.
LINDA - I love tractor shows, too. We used to go to them quite often. Years ago Bill restored my dad's 1948 Farmall, "Zeke", and we took it to the shows and Bill drove it in the parades. There's something about tractors! Love 'em! But you're right - they need to design a few seating areas. All that time on your feet can get painful as well as tiring. Glad you saved all your info on your computer! Bill has an extra external hard drive to save photos, etc. Just in case. But then computers are his biz. I don't have a clue in my head about them!
BECCA - your place sounds so pretty! Having been through NC several years ago (before I knew you), I know the entire state is pretty!
VELDA - your steak dinner sounds delish! Bill and I almost always split baked potatoes. We buy our spuds at Costco and they are giant! One potato was so big we both ate on it for two days!
Last night I made a scramble but Bill chose to eat 4-day old lasagna instead. I opted for the scramble and there is enough for tonite. So supper is already cooked! I'll make a salad on the side.
What's cookin' at your house?
