SUPPER CLUB - Tuesday, Jan 23rd

Good morning!
We finished painting! hooray! Now we have a brief break in the action while we wait for our wallpaper. Going to reframe some of the wall pictures, and jetison a few of them so I'm planning to stop at Michael's today to look at frames.
Our Scottie dog is sick. Vomiting all day yesterday and dry heaves through the night. Panting, off his food, frequent urination, lethargy, and hot nose. It looks like he has been eating some rotten food. We checked all of Vicki's yard on Sunday for garbage, but I think she knows now that we do that on Sunday morning when her kids take her out to breakfast, so I guess she saves everything to toss out into the yard on Monday. At least that's what we're guessing. What he's upchucking is nothing we gave him or anything we had in our garbage. So it's off to the vet this morning. I love our vet (I took care of one of her sons in the NICU almost 20 years ago) but I'd sure like to see her without having to pay $$$!
There was a 7.9 earthquake off Kodiak Island in Alaska and I guess we were under a tsunami watch this morning. We had no idea until a frantic friend texted me at 0600 asking if we were safe from the tsunami. I said, "Huh?" But watches and warnings are all cancelled now.
VELDA - sometimes when you lose your message you can hit CTRL and Z and it might come back. That works for me about 3/4 of the time. But I learned last week that all those lost messages go to Nevada!
Who knew?? lol!
JANA - There has been a lot of action in your neighborhood lately! haha! I've heard cops use that phrase, "don't make me chase you!" on Live PD and other cop shows! I sure would if I were an officer! Your talk will be inspired, I know.
IRISH - how was your lunch yesterday? If it matters, I like my meatloaf sandwiches with mustard, too. Bill uses mayo and ketchup, which I don't understand. Your poor family! How is your sister's hubby?? Sending some prayers his way.
CHICKIE - what a treat to get to see all those turkeys and deer! Will you warm up today? Sure hope so. Seems someone is always freezing somewhere lately! When I have to do a whole bunch of somethings, I tend to divide them into lots of 10. Not sure why, I just do and it tends to give me a better sense of satisfaction as I finish each little pile.
BECCA - I'm glad things with your Dh have improved enough so you can leave for a while.
I talked to Tina last night. She has been having phone issues so hasn't been receiving any messages. Not much work has been done on the trailer, I think because it's been so cold. She is babysitting the boys every day.
My brother, Al, heard from his doctor. He will have surgery, date yet to be announced. Doctor told him there will be a team of 20 people in the OR which will include 6 surgeons. (sounds like they are selling tickets!) He will have his bladder, urethra, and prostate removed, and maybe a kidney. He will come out of this with a permanent urostomy. He will still need another one or two trips to Seattle for pre-op labs, EKG, etc.
On to supper now - I think we'll have breakfast for supper. Eggs and hashbrowns and turkey sausage. I want no leftovers tonite as we'll be having a big meal tomorrow night with company here, and I know we'll have leftovers from that!
I hear there's leftover meatloaf at Irish's if you haven't got a plan yet.. .
