Psalm 126

So it is when we are delivered and restored to the Lord from captivity in sin. It should bring joy and laughter to our lives, for we know we do not deserve it, and it is not due to our own work and efforts. But also it should be a testimony to others of God's grace and power to save. When people see the change in our lives once we have been restored to walk with the Lord, His power and goodness should be evident.

As we seek to sow the seed of the gospel and witness to a lost world, those who will see results are those who go out with a heart that is literally broken over the lostness and darkness in which the peoples of the world are held in bondage. When we see people without Jesus, whether in a Muslim country, an unreached people group, or among people walking the streets in America, tears should come to our eyes because we recognize their captivity to sin. But as we carry the gospel and sow the seed faithfully, those who are broken and weep over the lost will have the greatest joy in seeing them saved.

Hugs and prayers

It is hard for missionares to daily work, knocking on doors and calling on referals, to teach and share the gospel. The answers are many as to why someone doesn't think they need or want to have the gospel in their life. Those missionares face that disappointment daily, with many tears. But, oh what joy comes to them, when even just one accepts the teachings of the gospel.

Our Father in Heaven wants all of His children to return and luve with Him, in His heavenly home. Us, who have gained a testimony of the gospel need to be a example, so others can see our light and want it to. St Francis of Assisi said, "Teach the gospel at all times, ---------- IF, necessary, use words!"
