Nov 21 daily devotion

Psalm 111

God reveals His works to those who praise Him. Not everyone is aware of how God is at work in the world, but those who delight in the Lord see events and circumstances as the hand of God ad a testimony of His splendor and majesty. He intends His works to be a testimony that will be remembered so we do not lose faith and our hearts will constantly be lifted in praise to Him.

It is not only His works but His character and the nature of His every being that cause us to praise HIim and fear Him. His righteousness is forever; it can never change. It is absolutely impossible for God to be tainted by sin or do anything that is not holy and good. He is gracious and compassionate and in spite of our failures, will keep His covenant promises. All His actions are governed by truth and justice. His precepts--the guidelines and laws of moral behavior and relationships--are totally trustworthy.

Hugs and prayers

Many times in my life, I have seen the spirit of the Lord, brooding over nations and people in this world. What a blessing to those that were trapped behind the Berlin Wall. The restriction they lived in by not being able to practice any religion. Then the wall fell, and those living in that oppression can now be taught the gospel and choose for themselves. Many times, people try and fail to stop the gospel from going forth. Even in China, the church has a place with members and a temple in Hong Kong. The gospel will roll forth for all people in this world to have the opportunity to learn of Christ, His truths, and His atonement for mankind, in their own language. Oh, what a blessing that is.
