Nov 16 Daily devotion

Psalm 109

What we should desire above all else is for our adversaries to know the Lord and for them to experience His judgment in such a way so that they would know that HE is the one who has done it. Wehn God blesses them, in spite of their cursing, it should make them ashamed and aware of their sin. The first step toward repentance and a turn around in behavior is to acknowledge one's selfish and evil deeds. God is always interested in redemption, and we should be also. We can be confident that He is faithful to assist the needy. When our heart is wounded and we are hurt by the betrayal of a friend or the intentional pain inflicted by an enemy, God will minister to us in loving kindness when we turn to Him. But He is going to intervene in a way that will bring glory to Him. When our adversaries are put down, we will not be able to claim credit or gloat in their misfortune, for we will recognize that God is the One who has done it.

Izzy Wonderful food for Thought & the flowers & butterfly’ reminds me of Gods beauty all around us.
It’s all in God’s hands & we need to remember that when we are hurt by others. Becca
