SUPPER CLUB - Sunday, Oct 15th
Good morning!
it's going to be a nice day here, and I was thinking - yard work! But starting tomorrow, we're to have a rainy, breezy week with a big windstorm on Wednesday. So we're putting the yard on hold for now. I might do a load of laundry, water my house plants, and dust. The rest of the day will be for sewing! I put my purple/gold blocks together yesterday and will piece the backing today. I also have two Christmas quilt tops and I need to fix the backing for them, too, and hopefully I can keep Bill on task to quilt a little bit each day. I have about 12 tops that need his attention. But any little shiny object that comes along and he's outa there! lol! So it's a slow process. Right now he's putting a few extra outlets in the trailer, up high. He really likes Christmas lights in the trailer along the ceiling line. It's the only festive thing about him so I say, "Go for it!". So if I can get an hour of quilting out of him before Home Depot opens, I'm happy! lol!
TINA - Now I'm curious how you do math! I think I do it differently, too, but maybe not. If I'm adding, I round to tens, add them, then add the rest together and add that to my 'tens total'. Does that make sense? Nice that you could give your dad a break. The constant stress is taking a big toll on his own health, I'm sure. your Klobase sounds fun. I like Bingo! Good luck!
JANA - I say if it came out right, then you are smarter than the teacher! And she should be proud of you, her star pupil! Eleanor would say, "You go, girl!"
IRISH - I don't know who messes up our houses, but I'm convinced they can teleport themselves from your house to my house in the flash of an eyelash! I think you need to teach your new DIL how to quilt herself so she will understand the things she's asking! I like cherry pie. just sayin'.....
BECCA - you're not guilting me into yard work today! with the weather predicted for here, there's no point. I'd just have to re-do it next week. Glad this episode is over for Denise. Some people are predisposed to kidney stones for whatever reason. My LDH#1, Michael, got them frequently and was even hospitalized 2 days one time. And my brother's wife also used to get them a lot. I hope Denise never gets another one! She's put in her time!
We still have a pot of chicken soup left over so I think that will be tonite's feast. I love knowing supper is already "in the can", so to speak, even though it didn't come out of a can. Now I can play the day away! and I hope you can, too!

Good morning!
Mary - thanks for that! I needed a pick me up. Feeling pretty dumb after yesterday.
Dinner is a whatever. I bought a new waffle iron, Michael likes the old fashioned type - little holes, not the Belgium waffles. So I need to try it out.
I am at church and Michael has a meeting afterwards, so I will stay and wait for him. It is cold outside 25! Too cold to walk home with just a suit. This year Michael gets a overcoat! We did get snow yesterday, but only up in the mountains, just rain on us here.
Enjoy,
Jana

Good morning
Mary, if I'm fast adding then I add my teens first then go back for my ones LOL the math I do differently is algebra LOL it's like my brain is a step or 2 ahead of my pencil. Holly subtracts backwards from me, I could forward and she counts backwards LOL
I was telling Frankie what you said about Bill quilting and explained to him that Bill does the computer quilting part and that it's the computer quilting so Bill just programs in the designs he wants and then depending on if he's doing a design per block or across the quilt how it works and that it has to be squared perfect and that Bill has to watch it and make sure it does it right and then at the end of a row then the quilt has to be rolled to the next section and stay quilting again. ... here's Frankie's reply (don't tell Bill cause he doesn't want to get in trouble he says) Bill should be able to do 3-4 quilts a day then! LOL He said he could even sit and drink a beer or 2 while quilting LOL oh I about died laughing!
Today is the Klobase so I gotta get ready and help get the cats table and chairs out. I'm hoping I win a turkey for Thanksgiving today!

Hello everyone, just got back from walk.Nice day for one.
Jana Einstein was told by his teacher he would never amount to anything.I know from having lefty in the family you have to improvise.I say if it works go for it.
Tina I can understand where your Dad is.He does need a break.Too bad he can’t get home health to help.
Hope you win a BIG turkey.I used to always get the biggest one they had in the case.
