My name is Michelle. I was a member of this community years ago due to some unfortunate events I was without a computer for a long time as well as being without quilting supplies. I'm not even sure if any of my old friends are still here. Anyway I just wanted to introduce myself.
I am originally from Minnesota, lived in Wisconsin for a couple years and moved to Colorado in 2009. I have two daughters 11 and 9 from my previous marriage and I have an 11 month old son from my new marriage. I used to quilt all the time but haven't made a quilt in years. I don't even own a sewing machine anymore but I have slowly been rebuilding my quilting supplies and am able to hand piece although I haven't finished anything yet. Because it's been so long since I've made anything I feel like a new quilter again. I'd like to finish at least one quilt before the end of the year, the only quilt we have right now is one given to my son. If I can I'd like to finish two quilts before the end of the year but I'll be happy with finishing one quilt.
I don't remember my own screen name from back when I was a member before but I am seeing some other familiar screen names. I'm starting to send out PM to those I recognize. I'm super excited to be back!
