Just a quickie this morning. Enjoying the ocean and cooler temps. Almost too cool! 65° yesterday. Its 90° at home. We are enjoying beach walks, relaxing, reading, dominoes, and seeing Neat wildlife. Yesterday was three little bucks, antlers in velvet. Lots of birds, cranes, and other sweet critters. Bill's sister came to visit last night. They live 40 miles away. Had chili dogs and campfire. We had a sick kitty yesterday but he seems better today. Quiet but better. We have sketchy Internet and phone so I am keeping this very short.

Tonite will be tacos. We. Cook mostly outside. Which means bill cooks. But like BBQ, still means I do everything but stand at stove and stir. LOL! But at least mess is mostly outside.

Hello everyone,sunny here,mid 80s.

Maryz Rest & Enjoy your time off.Yes we got our car back yesterday at 12:30. 41/2 days.Needless to say this was a stressful week.Plus on Thurs afternoon DH went out on his mower to mow flat part of yard.I told him not too & I didn't hear the mower.
I was on the phone with neighbor that was taking us to get car when we got a call to go.My phone kept beeping for another call.It popped in my head it may be CA.I run on front porch & see him laying in the ditch below the bank in front of house.I ran out & mower had stayed in the yard but he got off & fell down the bank. Another day at the Funny Farm.Thankfully he was ok.
Our DS came later & told him no mowing.He hasn't mowed in years.MEN!! He was trying to help me he said.

We have been eating here.Corn on cob,watermelon,strawberry bread,burgers.And spinach for me.

Good afternoon!

Mary - oh the wonderful sound of the waves crashing on the beach. I loved sitting at tbe beach at night, listening to that sound! Enjoy the restful time.

Becca - oh my! Hide the key! Glad the car is back. Now, just a quiet week!

Tomorrow is Michael's BD, so I am cooking him a fancy dinner. He loves prime rib, and since we eat late, the restuarants here usually run out, so I will do one here. So dinner is prime rib, rice, asparagus, sourdough bread and gravy.

Next weekend, on Sunday, we will celebrate all the summer BD's. We missed Kate's, she was singing, Aaron, 4th of July got in the way, and this month is Michael's and Andrew's. The kids are cooking which is nice.
