John 8

Oh, How I love to start my day in the word. John 8 was read by me this morning and here is what really was embedded into my thoughts:
1. vs 7...He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. We are so quick to notice the sins of others and quickly forget our own. We point others sins out when we want to give a reason for things we don't like or don't want.
2. vs 15...Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. We do this all the time. Judge someone out of our flesh. We forget to take the moat out of our own eye before we cast judgment upon another. Jesus judges us with the Father. vs 17 states It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true. Jesus and the Father are the two!!
Our lessons this week deal with time. We often have lots of time to notice others short comings, yet we don't look upon ourselves and wonder "how can I be a better servant of God". I am hoping we all are praying over our "list of to do's" each day and using our time to serve HIM not question and judge others. We each have our own walk. We each have to overcome our own sins and short comings let us not waste time worrying over others sins and short comings and let us let JESUS deal with the hearts and souls of each other to strengthen them and work through them to overcome the sins in our lives.
Hugs and God bless.
Izzy

Saw a bumper sticker here once - don't judge me just because I sin differently than you do.

Each person in this world has been given light and knowledge that they must live up to, some have gained more, others are still learning. Each of us are on the straight and narrow path, some a few steps ahead, others a few steps back. If we take all our time judging others, we have lost time for us to serve and help them.
