Psalm 54
We must always trust God to bring about justice rather than seeking to exact retribution ourselves. He will exhibit His faithfulness in repaying evil. It may not be immediate but in His time and in His own way. Therefore we must keep trusting ourselves to Him, confident that He will hear our prayer and supplication. He will help us, not necessarily through vindicating us before our enemies, but in giving us strength and the ability to withstand the criticism and personal attacks with patience and grace. He will sustain us and keep us from returning evil for evil. He is the Oned who guards our soul when our natural reaction would be to defend ourselves and attack those who abuse us.

If God is our help and sustainer, the One who saves and vindicates us, what then is our part? We are to 1. sacrifice our rights, die to self, and put our life and reputation on the altar; 2. we are to give thanks to the Lord. It is in praise and giving thanks that we express our faith and confidence in God and that He will work, even when there is not yet any evidence of His intervention.

Praise makes us aware of His presence and allows Him to take control of our emotions and guide our actions and response.

Hugs prayers and God bless
Izzy

Izzy Our computer shut down so I missed this.
It's very convicting to read this & makes us so conscious about trusting God & letting go.
That's not the normal reaction to human nature but we must not react like others.
