SUPPER CLUB - Saturday, April 29th

Good morning!
our dinner last night at our friends' was good. Spaghetti and meatballs. Fun to catch up with everyone. The dessert was tasty, too! Today is an unplanned day. Supposed to be rainy, so no outside stuff. OK by me. I have 26 postcards finished and feel myself winding down. I have a few more in my brain and then it will be time to clean up my sewing room. LOTS of uglies around here to choose from. The dust bunnies are having babies!
CHICKIE - I would love to have seen your little parade through the yard with Lint and Blackie! lol! And about Vicki, you hit that nail smack on the head! Kids tried to get her help before and she would have none of it. No Meals, no baths. The thought of her trying to cook is scary. She tosses a lot of the fresh food the kids (and we!) bring her into the back yard. I have no idea what she eats. From her marked weight loss, I'm guessing not much! How did your cookie do at the auction! Awesome of you to donate your talent like that!
SUE - Bill graded the chuckholes out of the driveway yesterday in anticipation of your grand arrival. And if you keep a sharp eye out, there could be free food! ;o)
TINA - glad you could join us yesterday! What's your weekend looking Like? are you changing rooms around???
BECCA - sorry your neuralgia is kicking up. I expect that is something that could get worse with stress. Deep breathing can help with stress and blood pressure. Enjoy your niece's visit. My Autumn is almost finished getting certified to be a yoga instructor, too. She loves it.
JOANNE - glad your Rx came early in the day. I hate waiting for deliveries, too. We did that day before and ours seem to always come late in the day. Guess we are at the end of the route.
JANA - we go to Discount Tire. We travel so much and they are everywhere across the nation. The exact same thing happened to one of our trailer tires one time as we were almost to Chickie's house. When we left, there was Discount Tire in OKC and they repaired it for free. And they just repaired another tire for us last week in Tacoma - for free - our favorite price.
CHRISS - good to know you don't care for Black Forest desserts. More for the rest of us! Sorry you don't have time to join us in the mornings, but you can consider Supper Club as the dessert of your day! ;o) !!
IRISH - sending you lots of love, my friend! We are missing you but know you'll be back soon. And I hope you know we'e all here for you!
And now comes the part where I have to figure out supper on the spot! I could make that tamale pie of Jerry's. . . Bill would like that. Or we might do Jana's pork chops. We didn't get to them yet. Bill is hollering from the computer room that he wants to grill something. So it might be chops, but on the grill. maybe packet dinners with potatoes, onions, and veggies . . . I'll have more details on tonite's supper tomorrow. ;o)
