Good RAINY morning!
After such a nice day yesterday, too. No outside work today! I have an early massage appointment so I'll lay low the rest of the day. I have a book I want to finish so I can pass it on and some detailed grocery lists to make for Fred Meyer (our Kroger-owned grocery) and for Costco. and then to figure out something small and simple to put in trailer for a sewing project. Not sure I'll be sewing at all since we'll be with friends, tasting wine by day and drinking it by night. but maybe . . . . Oh, and I also have one load of wash to toss in. Didn't quite get it all done yesterday since I went outside for a few hours and forgot all about the clothes.
TINA - HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! how many years? And what day? We always celebrate just by being together. My parents always took a 'ride' - the entertainment of their day. Packed a picnic and went over the mountain passes or around the Olympic Loop or wherever they took a whim. I have some deer fabric - tell me what you need. I share. I may have a bit of little boy fireman fabric, too.
CHICKIE - happy to hear P.Lint is doing so well and that Black is improving. Sorry about the lingering 'issues' though. Our vet refers to that as "soft serve". Sounds like you had the right celebration for National Pet Day yesterday! lol! But do you really think it was good form to mention 'steaks for dinner' in the same paragraph? I mean, really!
BECCA - you did have a busy errand day! Did you discover any treasures at the thrift shop? Glad you found the phone. I lost mine out of my pocket once. My sister used to be the campground host at the Boulder County Fairgrounds in Longmont, CO. and she and I were driving around the fairgrounds in our ATV. got back to the RV and my phone was gone. We got in the buggy and retraced our route, scanning the ground. And found it!! In three pieces. But I put them together and 2 minutes later Bill called me! It worked! Whew!!
I'm trying to think of what we have in the freezer for supper. Seasoned chicken breasts from Costco, I know, so maybe I'll roast those with some carrots and potatoes. We'll see what it all morphs into by suppertime!
Have you got a plan yet?
