SUPPER CLUB - Sunday, March 19th

Good Morning!
We are having a dry and sunny day today!! Yaaaayyy!!! Starting out at 32* but SUPPOSED to top out at 55*. My DGS is coming over this morning to help out with yard work because right now it's mostly raking up the fall leaves. And that is one motion my back just can't take anymore - raking. But I'm fearing that Bill will hijack Drew to help him with HIS project instead and I'll still be stuck wrangling the rake myself. Also, this morning, Drew is meeting my neighbor across the road who owns a landscaping business. (I've walked with his wife every morning for last 10 years). Looks like Drew will be working for him during the spring rush. So there goes my yard man!
TINA - sometimes I look at my ceiling and wonder just how those spaghetti splashes up there. Now I know! Sorry it happened to you, too! Let the thought of two new, and did I mention MATCHING, punch bowls happy you up! lol!
CHICKIE - I'd be oh-so-happy to share some of our rain with you! It's supposed to start up again on Wednesday for as long as the forecast goes. Sigh. I used to use my punch bowls, back when I was of an age to host bridal and baby showers, etc. But now, everyone I know wants wine, beer, or water in a bottle. As for the Kerrygold butter compared to other butters, I really should give it a better test. Others seem to think it's a big deal. I'm not sure it's a big enough deal to warrant the price difference though. I bet little Lint is loving her new home closer to her Mommy. Is she warm enough at night? Maybe she needs a heating pad to lay on like Irish's Jake has. Did you make her a cozy quilt for sleeping?? I have a little bit of black/white cow print I believe . . . .
IRISH - I feel so badly for you as you try to care for Jim and get him to eat nutritious food. Would he eat breakfast cookies? They are supposedly healthy (for cookies, anyway). I'd be glued to those robot competitions, too, if my DGS were competing. But every time you mention them I think of the Big Bang Theory episode where they had robot competitions. The gang named their robot "Monte". Does Nick name his?
BECCA - is your heat pump working OK now? Glad you got out for a walk with your friend. So good for physical and mental health! I try to walk every weekday with my friend, Lori, but we don't do 4 miles! Used to, but not now. I'm glad you were able to find a special home for your rocker. I'm doing the same thing and yesterday I got my DGS to take a set of dishes AND a small folding table! My DDIL is taking one of my sets of Christmas dishes (yes, I have two full sets) And Tina is taking my beautiful punch bowls! Soon I'll have room for more STUFF! lol!
VELDA - do a 10-step for me tonite, would ya? We talked about going dancing a few weeks ago but all the good floors (and good music) are so far away now. An hour's drive isn't so bad at the beginning of the evening, but coming home in the dark not so fun.
JANA - I remember we camped once many years ago in a forest camp up in the hills just east of Logan. We were only 7 miles out of town, but it was like wilderness. Beautiful campground! I love that the family can camp and Matt can zip to work and come back to camp at night. Those bunkhouse models have narrow bunks for kids in the back end of the trailer. Each bunk usually has it's own cubby. We've seen models with from 1 to 4 bunks.
Tonite, I think chicken curry is on the menu. It's usually chicken when we go to these friends in Oly. She doesn't eat beef or pork and I don't eat fish. So we almost always have chicken. Kabobs in the summer and curry in the winter. And the shelties will have kibble! lol!
What's the plan at your house?
