Psalm 14

Evil, wickedness, and deceit define how the world without God behaves. Yet the righteous live according to God's commands. Truth, justice, and a passion for righteousness please God.

The goal of Christian growth is the achievement of righteousness. In the Christian world today such a statement may sound radical. j Christians hardly ever talk about righteousness. The word has almost become a swear word. Nearly any other term is preferred to that word. I have never had a student or any other person ask me " How can I become righteous?"

To be spiritual has only one real purpose. It is a means to an end, not the end itself. The goal of all spiritual exercise must be the goal of righteousness. God calls us to be holy.

Are you living to God's high moral standards? Make decisions as if God were your companion in all your activities---because HE is always near!!

I saw a acronym, ASK - attain spiritual knowledge - what a great idea! When we gain knowledge, it is upon us to act and do what we know. That knowledge leads us to live a righteous life.

We are taught each week in Church on how to live righteously. I teach that to my girls from the scriptures in the lessons i prepare. There are so many examples for us to see. Even here on this forum, women that are living a righteous life are seen here by their deeds in serving others and caring for those in need - that love shows forth.

Keep on, you are doing what it takes!

Lots of Godly terms are being lost.This World we are living in ,most never give God a thought & scoff at his name.Its Sad but one day all knees will bow & confess he is Lord.
As we go about our lives we must strive to always ask what would God want me to do.
