SUPPER CLUB - Wed, March 1st
Posted: Wed Mar 01, 2017 3:32 am
Good Morning!
Can you believe we're already into March of 2017?? Bill said he read someplace that we are supposed to have a cooler than usual spring, but also drier than usual. We'll see what happens.
Still puttering in my sewing room. Yesterday I started pulling fabrics for the March lotto. The block this month is Jacob's Ladder, a block I've always liked. In spring prints. A good project to get back in my sewing groove after being out of the sewing room for so long. Also, Bill loaded up a cat swap quilt for me on the LA, so I have that to work on. In preparation, I downloaded a few audio books on my i-pad so I can listen and sew for the next few days. But first - I have a massage appointment this morning! My back can't wait! I do some stretches and exercises like Chickie, and they really help. But nothing like a deep tissue massage to tell your back you love it!
CHICKIE - such good ideas! A fidget quilt could be wonderful. Also the color books because so many these days are adult oriented. We are going to have Jim so busy he'll have no time to wander! Does Boomer seem more relaxed and limber after his yoga the other day?
TINA - I sure hope you all get well soon at your house! My nephew (now 48) was a ring bearer in his aunt's wedding when he was 4. A full Catholic Mass so it was a long wedding. He took off his shoes and sox and played on the altar steps throughout the entire ceremony!
BECCA - sometimes when my fingers get sore from hand sewing I paint them with liquid bandage.
IRISH - did you ever get out to your haircuts yesterday? If/when you decide to try those hamburger buns, let me know what you think. Bill likes them just as rolls for supper and usually eats them like that and the burger as if it's a steak. He's a funny guy.
I had to stop here and confer with the "HOH" about supper. We've settled on Chili relleno casserole, since I we have some yummy chilies in the freezer (thank you, TINA!). I also have some Mexican Rice-a-Roni and refried beans. Oh - and salad. So I think we have it covered for another day! Whew!
How's the planning going at your house?
