Psalm 11
God will punish evil at the proper time. Until then, he will protect us. There are snowstorms, hailstorms, rainstorms and there are DOUBTstorms.

Every so often a doubt storm rolls into our lives, bringing with it a flurry of questions and a gale force wind of fear. Soon after a light shines through the clouds.

Sometimes I wonder why so many hearts have to hurt. Do you ever get a Doubtstorm?? Some do and some don't, Some have a David like optimism that can defy any Goliath. Some wonder Where is God when the World is Stormy?

We have an anchor to keep us safe: His name is JESUS. Don't try to conquer the storms alone. Pray to HIM for help.

May God bless you all today.

Hugs Prayers and God Bless
Izzy

Good Morning, Izzy.

Yes, we do need to remember not to try to carry our burdens. "What a friend we have in Jesus". That is my very favorite hymn.

Thanks you for your messages.

Hugs
Velda

Izzy What a wonderful devotional. It is easy to let ourselves start to try to carry our burden. If I ever start to fretting I ask God to forgive me & give it to him.He is Always there ready to listen.Such a great comfort & strength he gives us.May we all rely on him each moment. Becca

I do know God punishes evil, I've seen it happen. And I know without a doubt I am protected by God.

It's a great feeling to know He has my best interests, and a plan for me.

I can't imagine not knowing God.

Velda, I like that song too.

When a doubt storm hits, your best refuge and shelter is your knees! Doubts can bring blessings, as you ask those questions in sincere prayer and receive comfort and answers. There is a great plan for us and we must do our part. Questioning, and then trusting in the Lord, as He knows the beginning from the end.

Doubt your doubts, before you foubt your faith. (Dietrr F Uchtdorf)
