Supper club. Friday feb 3rd

Post by purrfect-lady » Fri Feb 03, 2017 5:31 am

Good morning!

Today is my baby girl #1's 45th birthday. Can't believe all those years went by in a flash!

I was sleeping so well last night. Bill woke me at 2:30am. Our power outlet was arcing badly. It woke bill and he went out to check it out. Our power post was wired wrong and. Could have taken out all our electrical stuff w/o the surge protector bill put in. The next available power post had loose wires. So he found a safe one not too far away. He let the park know this morning. We are at this moment driving north thru desert to Quartzsite. Only about 75 miles today.
I am typing this laboriously on my tiny phone keyboard. I think we are going to have pizza for dinner, made with the purchased Boboli crust

Do you have a plan yet?

Good early afternoon from a sunny, but still cold, SW. Pa....But, you know, if you're inside looking out, it doesn't look too bad.....

Oh my, Mary, thank goodness Bill woke up...Could have really been a disaster and you certainly don't need that....I just can't understand how you can have a 45 yr. old baby, must be some mistake.....AND speaking of babies, mine (who will soon be 52) is at his interview now and will be stopping over as soon as he's done...This place is about 20 minutes from here so we all know, it would be perfect, no matter what they offer, lol.....Just hoping for the best, whatever it might be....

So, besides having Terry here, most of the uglies are done and I'm washing the bathroom rugs....I do have a few things I need him to do, like removing the old micro from the counter and maybe taking the boxes up to the shed, but just doing the micro will be a big help.....It's been awhile since, he and I have been able to actually sit and talk so this will be special....Jim knows he's coming but, just not sure it registered, so will be interesting to see if he knows him....I'm sure Terry is prepared if he doesn't but it's hard....

As for our dinner, last night I put a super eye of round in the crock pot and this morning, I added carrots, potatoes and onions...Now that smell I can handle! If the interview people don't take Terry out to lunch, he can have roast and then we'll have left overs for later....Also still have banana/nut bread and ice cream for afters.....

And of course my best to everyone and many prayers for those in need....

Happy eating.............

If you have left-overs I can give you my address. I just LOVE the sound of your dinner. Enjoy.
Not sure for dinner, maybe chicken marsala with green beans and egg noodles or rice. Not very interesting but tastes pretty good. Dessert will be left over cake from my birthday yesterday.

Good late afternoon!

Plenty of leftovers here. We will see what pops out of the refrigerator.

Irish - praying all works out for Terry. Dinner sounds Yummy!

Becca - with asparagus in season, spring is not far away.

DianEnjoy - Happy Birthday -Late! There's never any leftover cake with my huge Family! Enjoy!

Mary - what a scare! Glad Bill woke up and all is safe! My only girl will be turning 40 in a few more days - how can that be - she was born on my BD and I am only 24! She took over the BD when she was born. I won't take it back, she keeps trying to give it to me. LOL

Enjoy,
Jana
