Wait! A 4 letter word to many that can be not only disruptive but negative. What do you mean wait? I want it not! I need it now! But sometimes we have to wait it out. Sometimes we need to give GOD the glory and allow HIM to test us. Sometimes we need that wait time to make sure our decisions are sound and not just based on emotional wants and a fly by feeling.
Have you ever purchased something and then thought why did I do that; why didn't I just walk away wait and think for a moment before buying that. I have done this and then wish I had waited.
Right now I wait for a major decision to be made. I wait and see if it's the LORD's will. I am not stressing over it DH and I have prayed about it and I have asked some ladies to pray with us about it and now I wait patiently to see: Is it God's will or is it another fly by night want that we have. If it is God's will then it will also be ours. But this time I WAIT and I PRAY.
So next time you pray and God says WAIT. Be patient let the time pass with joy in your heart that GOD has it under control and there is a reason we must wait.
Hugs prayers and God bless
Izzy

Izzy This word wait is a must if we want to follow Gods Will for our lives. So many times we rush head on into something or think about rushing then we feel the Holy Spirit reminding us.When we learn to wait It shows maturity. Thanks for these wonderful devotionals.May God bless you with your decision. Becca

To wait upon the Lord is to show how much you put your heart and trust in Him. It is always for our benefit to wait. We see through the glass darkly, as Paul teaches, but the Lord has all in front of Him, clearly. He knows the beginning from the end.

Izzy, Thank you for these daily devotions. God will bless you greatly for taking time out of your busy life to offer us a verse and a brief bible study each day.
Waiting is hard, almost impossible sometimes. As we pray for strength and encouragement sometimes, we ought also to pray for patience and learn to wait for God's answer. It will come in HIS time, not our own. And sometimes we need to ask for understanding when the answer is not what we had hoped for but God knows best.....HE has a plan for all of our lives. We may never know the "WHY" until we reach heaven and can then understand.
Praying that God will bless you with whatever decision needs to be made for you and your family. You are always in my prayers.
God bless, love and hugs across the miles, Shirley Mae

I love when I see how waiting has led to God's plan unfolding. Sometimes I don't know it was happening until I see the outcome.
Izzy prayers for your decision, and for the best outcome for everyone involved.
And a huge thank you to God for making all that waiting worthwhile.
