Influence

Joshua had an influence while he lived and his influence lived on after he was gone. So great was the impact of his life that he led a nation to serve the Lord, and his influence lived on in the lives of his associates after his death. Israel continued to serve the Lord as long as his associates lived.

When people live in sin, their children usually follow them in sin. God tells us in His Word that the iniquities of the fathers are visited upon their children to the fourth generation. But, when people live for God, their children usually live for God.

The influence of a godly life makes for a happier home. A godly influence in the workplace is a blessing. Others are often influenced to be more productive and more loyal to supervisors. Such an influence often causes others to become Christians. We should all let our lights shine every day to the glory of God.

Who will you Influence today by your own walk with the Lord?

Hugs prayers and God bless

Our homes are a very special place. A refuge for our families. It is where they want to be, because of the spirit that abides there. What we live, shines in our lives and those that seek, will see and come to want that same light we have.

Izzy ,We live in a World that needs Godly influence so bad.I always pray our Home will be filled with the Holy Spirit & influence those that come into our Home.I always pray they will see Gods love reflected here.As we go out about our daily lives we must always remember we may be the only Bible someone may see.I too pray our Children & grandchildren & Grands will be Godly people.I pray they remember that I have tried to point them all to the Lord.Thats my desire is for each one to follow our Lord & Savior.
Thanks Izzy Becca

Izzy, It is very late, almost midnight. But wanted to say thank you for your daily devotions. I look for them every morning. Sorry I don't post often and add my own comments. Life gets in the way.

Just wanted to let you know how special this ministry of a devotion is to all of us. May God bless you for the bible verses, the special pics with it, and especially your own added little bible study.

I try to let my light shine each day, with a smile, an encouraging word, and especially with a prayer for the needs of others. I welcome any and all into my home. It can sometimes be a mess, but I open the door wide, welcome them with a hug and invite them in. Who knows when we might be entertaining angels unaware.

God bless you all today and always. Let your light shine today too. Love and hugs and prayers for all your needs. Shirley Mae
