Need Some Ideas
My Bernie's cousin has asked me to make her a queen size quilt in blues. I am having a brain cramp! I want something traditional and somewhat easy - I can't handle stress at the moment. Any ideas?

Re: Need Some Ideas
how about a drunkards path? or a trip around the world. Or even a simple 9 patch. Or, if you make HST's you can do all kinds of things.
Hope things are going well for you Deb. hope the yucky people are leaving you alone. and hope life is going your way.

What about a rail fence or a pinwheel...both traditional and easy. If you make 6" pin wheels and alternate them with 6" squares you won't have to worry about matching the seams on the pinwheels...
One of my very favorite traditional quilts is the rail fence...simple to make with strip piecing and I've never seen one I haven't liked...

When I want quick and traditional I go with Monkey wrench or Churn dash:) quick and easy and can use several fabrics and still be beautiful
