SUPPER CLUB - Sunday, Nov 20th

Good morning!
It's rainy again! So maybe no wood-splitting again today. It will mean more days AFTER thanksgiving, but that's OK. Pressure will be off us by then. We want to leave for TX by Nov 30,but that's an arbitrary date. We can go a few days later if necessary.
IRISH - I am so rooting for Terry to get his job in PA. And it's only 6 months until Nick graduates, right? We can work this out! I am so hoping we can also manage to get you to Ireland. We always called 'clean the fridge night' "Open Galley Night".
BECCA - you have so much going on in your life it must wear you out simply praying for it all. Let me help you with that. ;o)
JANA - yay! Stu's home! And with balloons to celebrate! We will be doing three birthdays on Thanksgiving. We will be getting an ice cream cake, I think. We've met a lot of planes the last month and every single one of them has arrived early. What's going on here? Can't depend on that extra 10 minutes to get to the airport any more!
MARY Q - at our house you NEVER have to figure out what's for breakfast. At least not for my Bill. He eats Cheerios every single morning of his life. for years. and his cholesterol is quite low. They are oats, you know, and oats are good for cholesterol. I just can't handle ANYTHING every day, day in, day out. and my cholesterol isn't low, I might add.
VELDA - yes, we're headed for Texas after all. We may be staying at an RV park in Georgetown this time. At least for a month. I prefer the setting of the Corps park - a beautiful wooded campsite on the lake - but our friends are hosts at a day-use county park near the RV park we are considering. They suggested we stay there and it's cheaper and has sewer hook-ups. Not sure where we'll end up. Bill left message for the park but as far as I know no one has called him back.
CHICKIE - Boomer sure knows how to 'help'. and he's all about the 'payday', I see! haha!!
In a while I'll get a big pot of chili going in the crockpot. and later tonite will fix cornbread. It's a chili kind of day. I'll even put in my fresh/frozen Hatch chilies I've been hoarding. Time to start cleaning the freezer. Can't take it all with us.
What's the story in your kitchen?
