SUPPER CLUB - Wed, Nov 16

Good Morning,
I woke up at 3:30 this morning and was done sleeping. Now I'm hear, holding off on punching the BREW button on the coffeemaker so it won't be so stale by the time Bill gets up. The kids were hopeful of an early breakfast, but that didn't happen for them so they went back to bed.
I got in a bit of sewing yesterday and also popped down to the LQS a mile away for their 70% off select fabrics sale. I picked up a few nice pieces for quilt backs. Average about $3.50/yd. Just can't beat! They are new owners of the shop and I think trying to weed out excess fabrics from the old shop ownership.
IRISH - trust me when I say this - clean windows are overrated! Don't sweat over them. Happy to hear there's going to be more new eaglets! Congrats to Romeo and Juliet. Now M15. We really should find a new name for him. He sounds like an assault rifle, or an agent working with 007! What about "Bob"?
CHICKIE - you really did have a full day yesterday. A wonder you got any sewing done at all! But the Hooligans had fun and that's what counts!
TINA - you should have come here for your chicken parm last night. We had plenty! My BIL is a big eater so I try to cook for 5 people instead of just 4. So I use two pkgs of chicken or boxes of rice, or whatever. But that gives me 7 or 8 servings. So I keep ending up with enough leftovers to feed 2 or 3. My suppers here lately have been all about the math! lol!
JANA - is Sarah finishing off her basement? I thought she was in her house. But then, my mind has been a bit like a collandar lately, as Cindy G would say.
BECCA - it's nice to know a little about your brother. I'm glad he's got such good family support around him. Thanks for the idea of beef stew. I'm looking frantically for new menu ideas and that one hadn't occurred to me yet.
Our chicken parm last night was excellent. I've got leftovers tonite so I think I'll turn it into chicken cacciatore over the leftover noodles. I keep trying to think ahead on meals. We are really going through the food at a surprising rate here. So we're off to Costco today to stock up again.
