SUPPER CLUB - Sun, Nov 13th

Good Morning!
No rain today, but we are damp and will have more wind rain this afternoon. But that's OK. We'll have football to watch. Broncos for my BIL at 10:00 and Hawks for us at 5:30. We'll visit Jim in between games. He sleeps all the time now, being given a med that relaxes him. He was getting very restless and agitated. so visits are mainly being quiet and working on the current jigsaw puzzle.
Yesterday was bliss! I sewed about 6 hours!! Finished my Flo Flo cat wall hanging for my sis's birthday. Even got the label on. Finished a bunch of ornaments I'd been working on, and got started sewing a Tennessee Waltz quilt I'd cut out last August to take south with me this winter. Since we didn't go, I got that project out. So good to sew an actual quilt blocks again!!
IRISH - glad you got a day off and had such a good time. That is so nice that you are getting a respite day now and then. Those days are so important. My SIL has refused any help of that sort EVER (we have offered many times!) and now she is so fried that she will hardly talk to anyone. and her anger level is off the charts. Loving the eagle updates. I'm growing quite attached to 'our' eagles! Still miss Ozzie. But excited about the new man in H's life!
JANA - what's the word on Stu? And I'd want to be talking to whoever made the decision - and stuck to it for so long - to not get his hand taken care of before now. He may always have trouble with that hand now.
CHICKIE - hope your week is just that - nice and quiet. Filled with thread pieces all over your clothes!
BECCA - I was just 'talking' to you over in Sew-in! Not much has happened between then and now. ;o)
I hope to get in a bit of sewing today, but we'll see how the day goes. It's kind of odd - having my sis and BIL here 24 hours a day. They are sort of half-guests, half living with us. And they will be here through Thanksgiving at least and as long past that as necessary.
Supper? Hmmm... Maybe enchilada or chili relleno casserole.
What's the story in your kitchen?
