Ok I have given you two things today. A nice bible study of verses to count down to thanksgiving. It is an awesome printout you could even use with others:) and of course our daily verse.

Election is over and now we need to be in prayer for those elected. God had made his choices as well for our country/nation and as he teaches we need to pray for our leaders. We may not always agree but prayer is good for all and needed for many.

I hope you enjoy the print out:) I know I have since I found it yesterday:)

Prayers hugs and God Bless

Thanksgiving is such a great time to reflect on our blessings.

Thought i would share this with you.

My kids put up their big Christmas that goes in the living room on the 1st of November. My DDIL put a sparkly pumpkin in the middle of the tree and everyday the family takes a paper leaf, she made and writes down one thing that they are grateful for, and then places it on the tree. No one is reading them, yet. So on Thanksgiving morning, before breakfast, they will gather off the tree all of those leaves and read what each is thankful for. There will be many leaves on that tree with 6 kids and two parents. When she told me, i was so pleased to learn of her teaching my grandchildren this wonderful way of being grateful.
