Our farm is too large to walk the paths through the woods so normally we take the buggy and ride them to make sure they are still clear to travel as needed. Just like out path in life, there are obstacles we come along; we have to get out and move a downed tree or a limb that has fallen across the path. Sometimes it's a simple move and it only takes one of us and a moment to remove and toss to the side. Other times it takes both of us to get out and pull and tug the tree off the path and then there are times when DH will have to attach a strap to the large tree and pull it with the buggy to remove. Just like in life as we travel our path we have obstacles that we are able to handle alone, obstacles we ask others to help us by praying for us, and then there are the ones we have to place at the feet of Jesus and have HIM take care of.

Whatever obstacle that crosses your path just know: As long as your on that path with your LORD and Savior it will be a smooth one to travel. Don't go at it alone.

When i was little, my mom often quoted this scripture and the verse before it.

Trust in the Lord with all thibe heart, and lean not to thine own understanding.

Those two verses always belong together as a guideline for our lives. There will be thorns strewn in our paths, but they are teaching moments for us to learn from and show our Father in Heaven that we have faith and turn to Him for His help and guidence.
