Good Morning,
My Autumn flies in this morning! I've got to type fast, shower, eat, and run to the airport. I hate the reason she is here, but I'm so anxious to see her!
CHICKIE - I bet your Hooligans love their daily visit with Ava. Almost as much as you do! I love studying prehistoric animal life. My dad plowed up some fossilized sea shells in his cornfield when I was a kid. So unless other animals carted them a ways, we figured his cornfield was once the bottom of salt water.
IRISH - wow! That was some dream! Mirrors on the ceiling and a waving bed? I am narrowing my eyes here and asking, "Have you been in my bedroom??" lol! We do have one whole mirrored wall (it was there when I bought the house! Honest!) and at one time I did have a bed with waves. But we sold the waterbed and bought the one we have now. So in a way, you were sort of right on!
BECCA - what sort of couch are you looking at? Full size? love seat? hide-a-bed? Color? I really don't like furniture shopping. Or car shopping. but I love it when it's done!
TINA - what's going on with you? Hope you're not sick again! Any plans to work on your parents' property this weekend?
The chicken alfredo last night at my DD's was awesome! My DGS did some of the cooking. We took asparagus and there was Caesar salad and garlic bread. Oh my yum! and while there we watched the last game of the World Series. It was the first game I've watched all year, and I found myself rooting for the Indians. I was the only one. But it didn't matter who you were rooting for, it was one of the best games ever! 10th-inning of the 7th game of the world series, high score (for baseball) with tying run on - gotta admit, that was a good game!
Tonite, our friend, Oona, the retired chef, is making a ham dinner for our entire family. Her food is wonderful. Plus again, no cooking. Not a bad deal for me because neither of my sisters are ones to help with dinner or dishes, so making big meals every night can get a little old. I'm loving have a few nights off.
So what's for supper at your house?
