SUPPER CLUB - Sunday, Oct 30th

Good Morning!
Can you believe it's already Oct 30th? This year has flown by faster than any year yet! and they all fly! Family has arrived! House and trailer are full! And one more sister should show up in another 2-3 days but they are bringing their RV. So I don't have to fix a bed for them. My middle brother lives close enough so he doesn't have to stay with us, but can drive to G.H. to visit. Love having my family. Hate the reason they are here but we still find joy being together.
IRISH - what a poignant anniversary you are having. I didn't realize you lost your Chriss on your anniversary. You have my hugs for the day, my sweet friend! I am always in awe with the grace and humor you show in helping Jim through life.
JANA - cats love sleeping with little kids. Maybe we adults move around too much.
BECCA - it must be difficult for you, too, to go anywhere with all the medical stuff that goes along with your DH. You and Irish are such an inspiration to the rest of us.
CAROLE with an e - what fun! A pizza/baseball party! Less fun - doing laundry for "four" people! haha! I think that same ghost couple lives at our house, dirtying up clothes and dishes.
VELDA - do you cook much on the road or eat out? I usually make something ahead and freeze it to thaw quickly on travel days. Or I use a Rice a Roni, add sliced kielbasa and peas. My standard go-to-first-night-on-the-road meal.
CHICKIE - the gizmo is enroute, but I can't remember what day it's supposed to arrive. Bill mailed it and it didn't go priority. My dr gave me an exercise to do, though I don't think it helped much. But he said to stand on a step and let your heels hang over the step. (hang on to the railing!). Then drop your heels and hold for few seconds. Repeat several times. Stretches those tendons. Maybe it will help you.
Turkey dinner was pretty good last night. We have lots left over so Bill has requested hot turkey sandwiches for tonite. I think I'll mix up the leftover mashed potatoes like for twice-baked potatoes. Since I don't have the skins anymore but will dish them up into individual little casserole dishes. Or muffin cups. Are these called 'timbales'? anyway, add a fruit salad and we should be happy eaters.
I hope your supper makes you happy tonite!
