Can you believe it is half way through October already? The weather is still crazy warm here but should change this Thursday. Everyone is decorated for Fall. It makes me ponder: the world has got so paganistic with the holidays. They decorate for Halloween and Christmas both to the extreme here. But Christmas is not the Nativity scene its penguins and elves and such. In October, they decorate their yards with death, fear and fright. I don't understand it. We give more recognition to things that are bad than are good. Our society has really lost focus.

I do not decorate for fall. If I buy a pumpkin it's to eat it. Now I did carve pumpkins when the kids were small and set them outside with a candle in it. But that was the extent of Halloween. My kids did trick or treat but they were always fun characters nothing scary or sinister allowed.

I guess the world is more concerned with a Zombie apocalypse than they are the coming of the LORD. All in all, it will be Hell on earth either way, so I am hoping more come to know HIM sooner than later.

May you set your pumpkins about and may you know Fall is in the air and be thankful GOD has given you another SEASON to cherish.

Oh, Izzy, I love Fall!..Your Halloween was/ is like mine..
I have virtually all year "Fall" decor. The colors and warmth of the season.
Since we moved here 3 years ago December I have not decorated as I normally would because I was not sure we would still be here.

Where God wants us we will go...right now it is here....and I have finally started to decorate my house to make it my home.

Fall decor for me is indeed the Harvest...I am finishing the details of my mini primitive pumpkin doll hanging and my primitive pumpkin doll..they both make me smile.

We will visit friends this weekend in an area where we watch some harvesting being done as it was 100 years ago...

There is scripture on signs and on the doors of many homes..

Handmade wreaths and decorations made from the fields and trees are everywhere..
It is a beautiful, peaceful site..

There are many in the fields harvesting working together..
That is what we need to do as His children...work together to bring others to Him..

Izzy I have never decorated for Fall either.I think Gods beauty around us with the trees & all the Fall pumpkins,is sufficient.
I too am so concerned over our World & the turning away from God.We must continue to let others see Christ in us. Becca

Love Fall. A scripture comes to mind - All things testify of Christ. The beauty of earth is here for us to enjoy and for our benefit. We are certainly blessed.

There are many who are looking for the truth and the gospel and many workers, missionaries, who are ready, willing and able to teach them. Much more of the seekers than those are in the news all the time.

May we each help those seeking to find the truth and gospel, the world will be a better place with our help.
