SUPPER CLUB - Sunday, Oct 9th

Good Morning!
We had a wet day here yesterday with 25mph winds. A little sympathy weather for the Southeast, I think. All that yard raking I did last week - poof!! Oh well, such is life. Yard work is like laundry - as soon as you finish it, you have to start in again. And speaking of laundry - I think today is the day. Sigh. We have a window right above our hamper. Sometimes I think I should just toss the dirties out the window so they are out of sight, out of mind! Once, when my now 41-yr-old son, Mike was about 6, that's how he cleaned his room - just threw everything out the window! He was so proud! Didn't realize the window was in the front yard, right next to the front door. And so visible! haha! His sisters still tease him about that.
But, back to the present:
Our guest dog, Mick, still isn't right. Bill is going to my brother's place today to put battery tenders on his tractor and the motorhome. The dogs will go along and maybe a visit at his real home will perk him up. If he doesn't improve soon, we'll have to take him to his doctor. He and Scottie have the same doctor, which is nice.
IRISH - no, we didn't go to the movies. Bill decided to wait until Tuesday, Senior Matinee Day when we can go for $6. To be honest, I'd rather see the animated films, too, but I don't think I'd get Bill to go to those. And our DGSs are now 19 and 23 so they're not going with me either! lol!
CAROLE with an E - you are putting catfood on your list of grey foods? Well, I guess we never specified people food, did we! lol! Your pork tenderloin sounds good, though . .
CHICKIE - your supper last night sounded yum! I'd opt for the dumplings, too. I love dumplings so I don't dare make them too often!
JANA - Congrats on Logan's baptism! I always felt such a relief when my little ones were baptized. They were each about 4 weeks old. Wishing your Giants good luck!! So like your busy Sarah to offer her time to help raise funds for such a worthy cause!
CAROL without an E - where is your cat going on vacation? >^+^< and how do you make your fast hash? Everyone has their own version of such a dish and I'm curious about yours.
TINA - is today the last day of your 'vacation'? Did you get all your Tina-stuff done that you wanted to do?
I think tonite we'll be having meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, and salad. We've cleaned the freezer and fridge of leftovers and it's time for brand new food. Bill will be smiling, I think.
I hope your supper leaves you smiling tonite!
