daily devotion 9/6

We have a very large book the BIBLE to gather our wisdom from. If we could only use these same verses to ward off all the evils in the world---OH wait--- We can do that; but often we don't.

The Lord has provided us with a sword to use in our battles--the WORD; yet most of us choose to use our own words when it comes to fighting off those who hurt or insult us.

I love to quote a verse to someone who just got angry and cursed me out for something idiotic. The look on their face is priceless. THeiy first have no idea what you just said, and if they are a Christian are set back by it: and secondly they have no comeback or response which makes me grin and walk away:)

So the next time you need to say something: be knowledgeable in your verses. Quote the truth and let the truth set you free:)

God bless

The tongue is a sharp tool, so use it wisely. We always need wisdom from the Lord in all we do.
