What's your SUPERPOWER?

I was out for my walk and I kept thinking about something I had seen recently. I'was looking at quilty things on Pinterest and came across this saying: I'm a quilter, what's your superpower? At first I thought, that's cute, and smiled. But then I got thinking about what I have done, and continue to do with my quilting that might make it a superpower. I came up with several quilts and other items I have made for people that might just fit the bill. Memory quilts, quilts for the battered women's shelter, wall hanging for Habitat for Humanity, etc. So, I thought, I wonder what others are using their superpowers for, and do they recognize it? I had never given any thought to my work as a superpower, and most likely you haven't thought about having a superpower either. We don't normally consider ourselves as having a superpower. .I look at it differently now. Your superpower could be most anything! It might be the time you spend doing charity work that someone else wouldn't do. Or maybe, using some other talent, like quilting, to help another person in some way. OR, it might be showing others how you live your life to the fullest all the time. Whatever your superpower is, think about it, and use it in the best possible way. Don't leave it hidden away. Show it off! Superpowers shouldn't be wasted. Really, a superpower is just you using your talents in a super way, right? I'm going to use mine right now. You?

Funny, I woke up thinking about this subject. I even forgot what put it in my mind this morning.

Marilyn has a t shirt that says "I can watch three seasons of TV in one weekend, what's your super power"

Other than being a mom I'm not sure what my super power is. Maybe finding the positive in a negative is it?
