Good morning! Or I should say good afternoon, I guesss.
It's been a busy morning here and I just never got on the computer for long enough to chat you all up!
IRISH - things seem to be going from bad to worse at your house. I hope you can feel my cyber hug!
JANA - Wow!! Glad we're not in UT right now!
CAROL - I make plum chicken and serve it with rice. I wonder if they are similiar . .
CHICKIE - that had to be scary for you, wondering if your mom was OK. I had the same experience with my Dad once - and I was in the middle of coloring my hair! I dropped everything and drove over there - 2-1/2 miles - to check on him. and he was mad at me for doing it!! But he was OK, too.
So this morning I've been to the blood bank this morning, only to be rejected because of my residual sore throat. then 2-1/2 hours in Urgent care coming away with no diagnosis other than, "We think it's viral. Let's wait and see what happens." A very short walk with Scottie, two loads of laundry done, and all 23 blocks of my Heart of Texas quilt trimmed up. Now I'm going to start sashing my quilt. Will be ready for bed tonite!
Supper - burgers on the grill. We have buns and patties in the freezer and it means no cooking.! yay!! I hope you all can say 'yay' about your supper, too!
