I was thinking about what a blessing it is to have God to rely on.

Imagine how heavy loads would be if God wasn't there to help with them.

and isn't it so cool that you can say, "God I need you" and before you can finish saying it he is there.

I was shopping in Sears one day and as I was leaving I heard something behind me. A man was following me so I turned into the clothes rack and shopped some more. I waited what I thought was enough time and left the store.

The man was waiting and started to follow me to my car, He said "don't run, wait" I said "Jesus I need you now" at that exact moment a man came out of the store, confronted the man and asked him "what do you want to bother her for?"

I was able to get in my car and drive away. God rescued me. I was safe because I asked to be helped. God was right there the very second I needed him. no hesitation, all I had to do was ask and there he was. what a comforting feeling.

Rely on God, he is always right there.

PS. I miss the devotions and am sure Izzy will return once life settles down.

What a beautiful testimony of how God works.We are told in his word to speak his name.To overcome evil.Praise God for his faithfulness & mercy toward us.
