Good morning from winnemuca, Nevada! It's s sunny cheery morning if the birds have anything to say about it. And they are saying a lot!! My cats are running from window to window checking them out.

We are on the move again, heading slowly for NE Oregon. My DB, joined us just before we left Utah. So we are sort of a rolling family reunion.

Carol, how many more days until your retirement is official?
Tina, is your folks move delayed now? How are they doing?
Irish, sorry your sis is still in latest health "issue". Is this from her surgery a few months ago or did I miss something? But sounds like she has upbeat attitude much like our Jim here.
Jana, how much longer until the kids can move into their house? Couple months?
Chickie, sorry about the heated steam. We have been very lucky to have had only a few days of HOT weather. Don't feel guilty about sewing over mopping/sweeping/etc. it's over-rated in my book! No one, on their death bed, ever said, "I wish I'd spent more time at the office"!

Dinners on the road are interesting. We made tacos for everyone one night and ate leftovers for three days! Ditto with the turkey breast. Maybe I should have said dinners are NOT interesting. Tonight I'm leaning towards rice-a-Roni with canned chicken and peas added in. And a skimpy salad with last of fresh veggies on the side

So good to visit with you all! I miss my supper club pals!!

Good late morning from a very sunny, getting warmer but heavenly, SW. Pa....It's the kind of morning that makes a person actually "want" to do something productive, well almost, lol....

Oh Mary, how good to see you at the table...I've been meaning to ask, but do you keep a journal of your travels? With the way you have with words, you could be writing a travel book......Sorry I didn't get your text messages last night but telling me, failed...Story of my life! But, you did have Jim laughing, every time the phone would make that noise, he would say, there's Mary.....
The latest health problem with my sister was caused by mold, which she didn't know was there...Carpet, wall and a sofa in the corner of her basement had gotten wet from a leak and in turn, was covered with mold....See, that cleaning is hazardous to your health!

It's been interesting around this house...Jim has a problem with day and night and if he takes a nap, he then thinks it's the next day....Well, now, he decided, he likes the bed...Jim was always a person who was up with the crack of dawn or before but not now and I'm not used to this...Here it is almost lunch time and he's just not ready to get up...He said, if anyone stops to visit, just send them up to the bedroom, lol....
But, I do have sheets on the line, backing for another quilt on the line and just need to run the vacuum and I should be done with most uglies....But, of course there's always weeds so I could play in the dirt..AND, I've been trying to paint the wicker furniture from the porch and keep running out of paint so that might also get done today, maybe.....Terry is in town for the weekend, visiting a branch of his plant and he promised to try to stop over later...His trips are too short to have a good visit...And Cari is also in town and hopefully, we'll see her later also....And there will be a big gathering for the weekly breakfast in the morning......

As for dinner, I'm thinking burgers and potato salad...Every time I think we're having those burgers, it always gets changed so I'm really hoping today......

Irish Sure sorry to hear Jim is loving his bed.Thats a sure sign of depression.Hope he improves.Maybe Terry & DGD will perk him up.DDs visit help CA. This week.At least while she was here.We have to try to find the smiles along the way.Hugs to you.

I finished my strawberries this morning.Had another 6 Qts.Now will do yard work while DH rest.Then have Laundry to do.When does the fun end?

Forgot we have to eat.lol Will make sweet n sour chicken & salad.Fresh strawberries.Becca

Maryz - I know where that campground is! Driven by it many times! In fact I have named every pebble on I-80! LOL So good to see you at the table today.

Irish - yes, today should inspire me to do something - or maybe not! Lol

Becca - ooh strawberries - yum! I need to make a batch of jam - almost out of strawberry jam.

Dinner - humm - it's Saturday and I am not in the mood to cook, so something easy will happen. Tomorrow I will do banned PNW treat on the grill for DH. I found a orange cake mix, so will make that too, it's his favorite.
