SUPPER CLUB - thursday, April 28th

Did I not make it here yesterday? I know I started but then I must have gotten side-tracked. It was probably BILL!! He can be distracting at times - ;o] sorry.
CHICKIE - if you didn't see my note two days ago, we order our pet meds on-line for about half the price. We buy Front Line Plus in bulk - in other words, Great Dane size. Our vet worked out dosages for us and gave us syringes.
BECCA - I hope your DD finds the perfect house soon! I was reading about how many in your family. In MY family (kids and grands) I only have 10. But if I include all my brothers and sisters - YIKES! Let's see, my oldest brother, Gene, has 36 in his family. Middle brother, Al, has 26, Jim - 10, June - 10, Teese - 6, for a total of (add add add add add) 98! Wow! If my parents were still alive they would be in awe at what they have wrought and we would be an even 100. This is the first time I've added us up in many years. Personally, I was shocked!
LADY CAROL - someone needs to tell your weatherman that we are well into spring now . . .
CAROL - Nice to have your freezer full of meals to pull out! We had a little brown bird of some sort build a nest in the silk wreath on our front door a few years ago. So fun to watch the construction and then there were EGGS! They've never come back, but I left the nest in the wreath and put it out every spring in hopes of attracting new tenants.
IRISH - your Jim is getting a lot of attention at the S&D shop. Now I think you said his doc is also his cousin. Hopefully there's no leftover childhood animosity in play here and that Regis isn't going home at night chuckling that he put one over on Jim . . . Seriously though, I hope Jim heals quickly and not too painfully.
JANA - Love your kids' name for your nachos! I'm afraid to ask what all is on them. Let me guess: cooked burger, chilies, sliced olives, cheese, sliced tomatoes, avocados, salsa, and ??? am I close?
Today I am slowing down. I only have bathrooms left to clean in my spring-cleaning frenzy. I also want to get my Woven Ribbons quilt top together by tomorrow so I can clear the sewing decks before Mary Q and Sue arrive on Saturday. We have to run to Costco (Bill loves Costco and counts it as a date! lol!) and I need to make a dessert - tropical crisp/crumble to take to supper with Warren tonite. That's pineapple, bananas, (and I'm adding mandarin oranges) with a topping like any other crisp dessert. So no cooking here except for that.
