SUPPER CLUB Monday April 18th
Good morning, so far we're having a beautiful day. ....a little chilly this morning 33*
I've got burger thawing for burritos tonight so there will be leftovers to make Frankie some for the freezer.
Mom and Dad have Dr's appointments today and tomorrow. I hope Dad is up to driving. ...I really hope Mom doesn't insist. ... scary! And they're worse than a misbehaving 2 year old about listening to anybody! Ugh.

Re: SUPPER CLUB Monday April 18th
Good morning,
I have a package of steaks we got at Sam's club - way too thick, so I need my butchering skills and divide them up. One will be dinner tonight and tne others will be put away for future meals. Probably will add a salad. If it warms up enough, they will be grilled outside.
Tina - hope things work out with your parents. We finally had to take the keys away from a grandmother to keep her from driving.
Enjoy,
Jana

Good afternoon from a gorgeous, sunny and warm, Sw. Pa...Mother Nature is being nice to us for some reason.....
Tina, so glad to see you get the table set and the coffee/tea ready....You don't have enough on your plate, you also have to worry about your parents...I give you a lot of credit. Sure hope all goes well with the appointments.....
About a year ago, I took over the driving although Jim will take the car and visit a friend and last week, he did take it for inspection...Of course, I'm worried until he comes home and pulls in the garage...But he's accepted the fact, he really can't do as he used too...Just today, I had a landscaping co. come down and look at the yard...Not going to cost an arm and a leg and will cause less headaches....I think that will be harder for Jim to give up than the driving, lol....
Jana, I'm like you with the thickness...I really prefer a nice thin steak but I'm not much of a meat eater...Hope the hip continues to feel better..
Becca, you're baking again? You really are putting me to shame...I've been very lazy in that department but as long as Jim as something sweet, he's OK, so far! You sure do a lot of quilting with those church ladies...Such a "good thing", as Martha would say....Would love to have something like that around here....
Being so nice today, I've been trying to stay outside but inside is feeling neglected....I have clothes on the line and was using my cute little rake again...And as I was raking, I kept thinking, I'm just making it easier for the deer to find the hostas and the lilies.....
As for dinner, after me telling Jana I don't eat much meat, I have meatballs and sauce in the crock pot....Will add a salad and maybe some garlic bread...And for afters, I have some yummy ice cream.....
Tomorrow, I'm off to lunch so I figure, Jim will have leftovers for his lunch, which he won't mind.....
Happy eating.................

I only wish my mom would accept the fact that she shouldn't be driving, not only for her sake but for the sake and safety of others.
Irish there are days I'd like a landscaping crew here
we have 3 more sections of cement for the back yard but I think Kevin is coming home Thursday and Friday and Frankie might take off Thursday and they could get the cement under the last part of the gazebo done and a little section at the cooler. ... the 3 rd section is to connect two other parts together and go out to my gate so it will take two days in itself. ... I'm hoping for completion this Sumner.
