Good Morning,
is anyone here doing pranks on their loved ones? We are both too far under the weather to give a rat's patootie about anything but where's the Kleenex. Lol!
TINA - congratulations to Holly for her achievements. I've never heard of that certification either. That's a REALLY nice raise!!
CHICKIE - you know we were worrying about you as we watched the weather on the national news! Glad all is OK there.
BECCA - I have an idea of how excited your family is to have your soldier home again. My big brothers joined the Navy when I was just 5 years old. When they came home, the joy fairly burst my little heart!
IRISH - OUCH!! I hate dental work. I have an appt for a cleaning on April 11th and one of my crowns is chipped. It doesn't bother me, but it might bother the dentist.
I don't know about supper. I'm still hanging on to that lone pork chop but neither of us felt like cooking last night - or eating for that matter. We had poached eggs. So we might grill that chop and a potato packet or we might have grilled cheese. Kind of a toss up.
Bon appetit', y'all!

Good morning! I had no idea the weather was so bad here the other evening! DH always tapes everything, so we watch it a couple of nights later. I had a few alerts for thunderstorms on my phone, but nothing major. Then yesterday morning I heard about the damage in the area—again, nothing immediate.
Tina—congratulations to Holly! We had an early childhood education program at the university where I worked.
Mary—so sorry you are feeling punk. I recommend chicken noodle soup!!! Hope you are better before dinner. I’m so sorry my soup is now gone.
Becca—I hear your joy from here!!!
My DD is coming over this afternoon for a few (couple) of hours. She is “off” a couple of Friday afternoons a month, but when she doesn’t get to leave until 1:30, makes a stop at home, drives an hour, the afternoon is pretty short! With daylight time, it is a little better. We will just have some girl time together.
Dinner tonight: steak for DH, baked sweet potatoes and salads. I may or may not add a protein to mine.
Enjoy!

Good morning,
Mary - oh the creeping crud is no fun! Hurry and feel better fast! Bill too.
Chickie - saw those storms and warnings. Glad they stayed away from you.
The sun is shining and not a gloomy cloud in sight! We will warm up into the 70's - whoo hoo! So nice to be warm for Conference week-end. Church is three sessions on Saturday and two on Sunday. Usually church in jammies week- end, but we have tickets for the Sunday morning session. What a treat that is.
Dinner was out and picked up take out - I have leftover chinese and DH has his hamburger, so dinner is taken care of.
Enjoy and get well!
Jana

Good late morning from overcast, semi dreary, semi wet, SW. Pa...Not a good forecast but we'll put up with , I guess, lol....
Oh Mary, hate to hear about you and Bill not feeling well...Don't you know, togetherness doesn't have to include sickness....But, sure hope you'll be bouncing back quickly...I agree with chickie, chicken noodle soup......AND Jim and I both have appointments on the 11th so you won't be alone...He has 2 tiny cavities and I need a cleaning...But, to me, a cleaning is major and I'd like to be put to sleep, lol....
Tina, wonderful news about your DD...Sounds like she knows what she wants and goes after it....And a great raise, purrrfect!
Chickie, lots of times, I don't keep up with the weather and am surprised when we get what we get...I always figure, nothing I can do about it so go with the flow...But, we don't have the nasty winds like you do...Very rare to have a tornado in Pa....
Becca, It's almost time for those soldier hugs...So excited for you...
Not sure what today will bring....Should take a trip to Walmart and then Walgreen to pick up RX but that means I have to actually change into "decent" looking clothes and put on shoes....Jim had a bad night and we're both feeling kind of run down...His dreams are very vivid and last night, once again, he was trying to get away from someone and tumbled out of bed, hitting his head on the nightstand...He has a little gash on the side which of course had to bleed....Nothing like playing nurse at 3:00 in the morning, lol...But, other than being very tired, he seems fine today...Hoping to be able to talk him into going with me when I run these errands....
As for dinner, I did make ham and scalloped potatoes last night so that's on our menu for tonight...But, you know, there's always that chance the car will have other plans and then who knows what we might eat.....
Happy eating............

Good Afternoon Everyone!
Maryz - Hope you are feeling better soon! Perhaps some chicken noodle soup?
Chickie - Glad to hear you are safe and that your DD will be spending time with you today.
Becca - Glad to hear you will have family with you soon. You sound very excited. Take care of yourself and stay healthy!
Jana - Enjoy your conference! Nice you get to go on Sunday.
Irish - Maybe you had better get guard rails for your bed for Jim. Not good for him to be falling out of bed.
Today was the last day before Spring Break so we got out at Noon. So Glad! My DH had the day off too so we went to library sale and get to go to the gym together. We never stay together at the gym, but driving together is better.
Yesterday the check engine light came on in the car. I decided to check the gas cap, so I took it off and put it back on and the check engine light went off. YEAH!!
Tonight will be a pizza dinner night or **** sandwich night, I am not sure.
Goodnight Everyone!
Carol
