Happy Birthday to our BECCA!! She is queen for the day here at Supper club! May this be a wonderful day for you, a special year, and many more to come!
We got very little done around here yesterday. I did finish the laundry from our trip but no to start on the trailer bedding and rugs. We spent several hours in the heart of the day with my brother and SIL. That may happen again today.
JANA - I think I have your recipe for funeral potatoes. Yum!!
BECCA - that's a lot of quilts! My DIL belongs to a church group who does the same thing. I think they finished 3,000 quilts one year. And I'm happy for your brother. I'm glad you are feeling easier about his choice. Life is short.
TINA - will you be having all your family again for Easter? Seems Christmas just happened! I don't think we are doing a thing for Easter. We may invite my DB and SIL over, but it won't be a big fancy meal. Maybe something like meatloaf and mashed potatoes. . .
IRISH - three eaglets!! You will be one busy eagle-gramma, keeping an eye on that family!!
My Moroccan Chicken last night was surprisingly delicious. It was just a Campbells flavor packet that I dumped in on top of the chicken and let it cook for the day. DH really liked it, which kind of surprised me. And we have enough left for tonite!
How's the plan coming along at your house?

Good morning from a very sunny and getting warmer SW. Pa...The snow is gone, the birds are happy as well as all those green things poking through the ground....And you darn well, I'm happy, too......
Becca, A very Happy, happy Birthday to you...This is your special day and hoping you have nothing but the best day ever..Do something for you today.....And that is exciting for your DB and happy that you are pleased...Our Sunday breakfast buddy, the other Jim, lost his wife about 4 years ago and has been seeing, Kathleen, for about 2 years now..I think they just need the companionship, with them, no wedding...And if they're happy, that's all that matters...
Mary, you know, it's tough being a gram to these eagles...I can't get them to eat any veggies, just want "mac n cheese"....And then after a few months, they fly the "coop"....Your dinner did sound good but I'm not sure if I could try it on Jim, although he has broadened his taste buds lately.
Not sure what I'm going to get into...With the sun shinning, the windows are looking extra dirty so maybe, maybe I'll start on the downstairs..But, I just got my order from QIAD and I might have to play in my room for awhile.....
The chili didn't happen last night so maybe tonight...I found a meat loaf and a bag of roasted veggies...Even Jim was happy....Now tonight, we'll see if the chili actually gets made....
Happy eating.................

Good afternoon!
Happy Birthday Becca - hope you have the bestest day ever!
Gracie is down for her long nap and I am catching things up. She is a very good baby, just plays and then crawls up in my lap and coaxes for her nap. I do have the great room sealed off to keep her in a manageable area.
Ethan has grown! He is the size of a average 6 year old. To tall! He got a shot and asked the Dr., if he would give the shot. When it did come, the nurse was quick and about all Ethan could say was, wait wait that hurt! Over and done! We now need to sew some shirts for him as the ones at the store in his size are too short. I have patterns for polos and t- shirts, so that won't be any problem.
Dinner - well the chicken didn't appear last night, so it will tonight. I am also feeding Kate and Aaron earlier, they will get pancakes!
Enjoy,
Jana

Good afternoon! This is WINDY Kansas!!! Red flag warnings (don’t go out in small craft), wind advisories, fire condition alerts, and white caps on our pond! My phone has been “ding-ing” constantly for all the weather alerts.
Ava’s parents are off, so we don’t have to walk—not sure I could stay vertical… even with my ballast! The dogs are disappointed, but they are dealing with it. I’m sewing on Weeks 9 and 10 of Bloom. I’m now ready to trim both of them and add the borders.
Jana—I was sorry to hear that some of your missionaries were in the blasts at the Brussels airport. I thought of Stu and said a prayer for his safety. Such a tragic event! Have fun sewing for Ethan!!! I know he will love his new duds. Love your Ethan stories!!! I miss not having little ones in our family.
Becca—happy birthday to you!!! I echo Mary’s wishes for you!!! Glad you are feeling better about your DB’s coming marriage. DH and I had misgivings by family members when we found each other and decided to tie the knot as seniors (not high schoolers!!!), but everyone seems to have come around… We celebrated 10 years in September.
Did I mention that we have changed to Easter dinner rather than Easter brunch? I’m not minding it, since I don’t have to cook it all like I do for brunch. We should have a big crowd here.
Irish—I hope you are in your room playing! I got new thread, and it was so much fun using it today. What! No veggies for those eaglets? They must be related to my DH!!! Companionship is a wonderful thing!!! My best wishes to your friends.
Tonight will be chicken. I have thighs thawing and maybe some tenders… kind of end of the bags. I’ll probably brown them and finish them in the oven. The greens will be asparagus. I may do some quinoa or rice to complete our plates. There are some bananas that are begging to be made into bread, so guess I’ll do that after finishing Bloom.
Enjoy!

Good Afternoon Everyone!
Becca - Happy Birthday! Wishing you a day filled with lots of good wishes and good food to eat!
Irish - Hope the chili makes it to the table tonight.
Jana - Sounds like your busy with family!! Pancakes for the first dinner and chicken for the second, maybe anyone who comes afterwards could have chicken and pancakes? lol
Chickie - Hope you got the Banana Bread baked. It sure sounds good!
Maryz - What are the spices in Moroccan Chicken? (I have a feeling I would not like it, but just had to ask.)
Tonight's dinner is reservations at a restaurant. Always a favorite. I will remember Becca has the same birthday as my DH.
