Good late morning from a very sunny, getting warm, purrrfect SW. Pa....The start of a great week, weather wise...The kind of day that makes you want to throw open those windows and really enjoy that fresh air.....
I just realized, I hadn't stopped in yesterday..After early Mass and breakfast, I made a quick stop at Aldi and then had to get home to watch the rest of the robotic competition...They did very well, but lost in the semi finals and came in 3rd, which isn't bad...I was thinking about all the different things I've sat and watched thru the years and have been so blessed to be able to have been a part of all these kid's lives...So many, many great memories.....
Today, being so nice, I really do have to do something (even if it's wrong as a dear friend used to say)...I'm thinking the windows upstairs might just be that something....And then tomorrow, I can do the curtains and sheets and hang them out, whohoo......
For our dinner, it just might be burgers on the grill and potato salad, if I get on the ball and get it made...Don't think I'll be baking but we do have some extra good ice cream for afters.....
So, is the weather heating up your kitchen???

Good morning!
Irish - such fun and third is pretty good with all the other competitors out there. Good that they are having fun and learning at the same time.
The weather looks good here, but it is cold outside. We were in the 60's last week, but today only 40! So the kitchen will heat up inside. So pork chops, rice pilaf and the rest of the asparagus will be dinner.
After I call a few refill prescriptions in, I am heading to the Batt Cave to play.

Hello everyone,nice sunny day here at 68. Got to take my walk after a trip to town.Had to pick up med for DH.Also hit the library for some books .
Yesterday was pizza day here with salad.Took my walk after lunch.My forsythia & joniqels are both starting to bloom.Wonder I have anything left after the deer invasion we have had this Winter.I ran them off 3 times today.This is their fav place.Love seeing them but their hoofs really destroy our bank we have planted.
I too want to fling open the windows but not yet due to pollen.I open them for short periods.
I shaved chicken breast to sauté .Also black eyed peas.DH has Smores. Ice cream too.

Today started out with rain, lightening and thunder. Quite a storm! The cat did not like the thunder and hid under the bed till it was over.
Jana - Watch for the storm! The winds were fierce!
Becca - I think you were warmer than we were today.
Irish - Sounds like everyone is in the mood for opening windows. I mustn't laugh - I cleaned the front window as soon as the rain stopped this morning. I am hoping for more rain. lol
Tonight for dinner I made Fast Hash and green beans. Tomorrow will be pork chop skillet dinner. I forgot to get the pork chops out of the freezer yesterday, so took them out this morning and will cook tomorrow.
