Supper Club, Monday, Leap Year Day, right??????
Can you believe, the end of February already????I just got my Christmas stuff put away....Well, no, I don't have it put away, it's in boxes sitting on the back porch waiting for a strong person to come and carry it all to the shed....One of the boxes I use is from the last lawn mower we got and the other day, neighbor Ted was up and thought we had gotten a new mower and got excited....
Oh well, it's a semi warm, semi sunny day here in SW. Pa...Yesterday was fantastic and today is semi fantastic....
Right now, I'm waiting for the Comcast fellow to come and fix my phones...We have no dial tone and I've checked all the wired, talked to help chat and now they have to send someone...I do away with the land line but Jim just can't use a cell....
After they finish, I'm running to the Library, Aldi's and then Walmart...I want to check out the fabric...(And just as I wrote fabric, the sun really started shining)....
Has anyone heard from Mary? She usually send a text but I'm hoping she's having such a good time, she doesn't have time....Sure do miss seeing her at the table....
Not exactly sure what we're having for dinner...There is a little hot sausage left over but not sure if Jim wants it again today...I could thaw out one of those meals I made last week but I'm thinking, it would be so much easier just to stop on my way home from shopping and pick up something, right....I would hate to have my car to get out of that habit of pulling in those places......So, we'll see what happens.....
So, what's happening in your kitchen, thawing, picking up, delivery or cooking........
Happy eating..................

Good morning,
Irish - it is always good to have a land line, instead of just a cell phone. I know that in certain times of police actions, they can turn off cell towers, hence no phones.
Dinner - as little action as possible! My kitchen needs a rest! So do I!
The kids left this morning for California. Little Karlie gave Grandma lots of smiles before she left. Ethan is here being a good helper.
Enjoy,
Jana
I am sure that Mary is having a great time!

Re: Supper Club, Monday, Leap Year Day, right??????
Good afternoon! We had a quick trip to town for some errands and to drop in on Mom and say “Howdy!” That’s just about all it was. She was sewing on her ministry bags. It was too funny. She said “Hello, I’m glad you dropped by, Bye!” She definitely had a bee in her bonnet today to get those bags finished before she quit for lunch. I’m so glad she has a purpose again, but these will be finished today. When we returned, the dogs and I took a walk to see Ava and explored the pasture and hay meadow. We are 70 today, but will be in the mid-50s tomorrow. Seems like March often comes in like a lion or a Siberian tiger.
Mary said she wouldn’t have much electricity, and they probably don’t have wi-fi or cell towers “out there”. I’m sure they are too busy having fun and exploring to bother with us.
Jana—we gave up our land line after the fire and got DH a cell phone on my previous contract. Seems like the land lines go out more than the cell towers here.
Dinner here will be salads, either pork or steak, and a potato of some kind and a green. How’s that for vague? I have the meat cooked, so it will be just making the sides.
Enjoy!

Good Afternoon!
Jana - Karlie sounds like a very happy baby! Is Ethan asking for her?
Becca - Glad you are enjoying the good weather!
Lady Carol - Sounds like you will be catching up on the news with your cousins this week! Have a great time!
Chickie - Glad you see your Mom often enough she felt comfortable enough to say Hi, then bye!
Irish - Glad you are enjoying the sunshine. Hope the Comcast guy got there early and you got out to do your errands.
Today's dinner will be baked potatoes, chicken with mustard sauce, vegetables and a salad.
You are not going to believe this, but I have ripe tomatoes on tomato vines I left last summer. I think our salad this evening will be a tomato salad! Talk about a crazy winter!
