SUPPER CLUB - Sat, Jan 30th

Post by purrfect-lady » Sat Jan 30, 2016 4:32 am

Good morning,

As I wrote the date, I realized today would be my 45th wedding anniversary with my LDH#1, Michael. We were 19 when we were married. so long ago but it seems like yesterday to me.

We fetched my oldest brother at the airport last night and when we got home, fed him some bacon/eggs/hashbrowns/toast. He was starved. No one gets off an airplane with a full tummy anymore! My sisters are already on the way to their airport in Denver and will roll in here later today. It's going to get busy here really quick!

IRISH - You're right - that 'egg' looked like it had been through a war, so now that you mention it, I can see that it was just the leftover shell. You could always get all your towels and rugs in different, bright colors . . . If I were having a big wedding today that's how I'd dress my attendants - in solid, varying colors of their choice.

CHICKIE - I'm done with that storm and it is officially JANA's, so don't blame me! I have no control over what she does with her storms. . .

JANA - I'm done with that storm and it is officially yours. You're welcome.

BECCA - how did your tests go yesterday?

I hope our CAROL'S are have a good weekend!

This morning, as soon as I get off this computer, I'm going to make some peanut butter cookies with chocolate chips in them. Got to have some quick sweets around. My DD and DSIL are bringing pizzas over for tonite so we're going to have a bit of a gathering here. Even my sick brother will be here. He can't eat it this close to surgery, but the nurses told him he can drink beer, so he'll be partly happy.

I hope your supper tonite makes you completely happy!!

Hello everyone, sunny & beautiful here.Dont think the 60 mark will be met but mid 50s.Not bad.

When I opened the blinds there was deer in front & back this morning.Making this their abode.

You are having a happy time for now I know with everyone there.Glad DB can join in too.Pizza is good.

Please keep the storms away from East Coast. We had enough for now.And all Winter for me.We have 2 cedar trees that have to be cut & hauled off & a Laurel bush laying in ditch that has to be got out.Maybe this week with the warmer temps we can get it done.No rush.

Chicken dumplings here & green beans.Brownies for DH. Becca

Tonight will be leftover Chicken Parmesan, a mixed greens and berry salad (leftover from lunch out), potatoes and vegetable.

Maryz - Such a wonderful blessing that you will see all of your siblings at the same time. Prayers that the surgery goes well. Becca - Sorry to hear of the loss of cedar trees and laurel bush. Hope it is warmer for you this week.

I joined friends in going to a quilt store that is closing. We went to lunch afterwards. We had a delightful time.

Carol
